My cat loves playing with small plastic rings, about two inch diameter. When I get ready to toss the ring, he’ll get down low, watch the ring intently, then, when I throw it, he jumps up to catch it, and runs after it. He’s even brought a ring to me from out of nowhere, signaling he wants to play.

Great video! 😺 I have noticed many people (especially new cat owners) play with their hands, and in a way that is more for dogs, almost a bit rough 😬 the cat then learns to bite of course, and later on the owners yell NO!! at the poor cat for biting🙄😓 Would you consider making a video on that to spread the knowledge? You explain so calm and well😺🥇

Bonjour! I honestly didn't know they needed play time or else they'd lash out. This was so informative, there are so many details about feeding, playtime and even grooming that I didn't know! Will definetely consider all these things when I get a cat for myself! Thank you and keep up the good work, Monsieur!

Great video! Will definitely implement some of these. I'm about to foster my first cat tomorrow which is quite exciting. She will only be with me for a few weeks (a friendly adult I'm told) but I've learnt so much from your channel - please keep uploading your helpful videos!

I just tried what you said on your website and it totally worked! The energy of my little guy was totally burned out and then I gave him food. Makes a lot of sense :)

Thank you for showing us the way a cat 'thinks'. Very soon I'll be taking on a 4 year old, and your explanation helps so much.

Hello, Your videos are absolutely brilliant - thank you so much for making and sharing them (and inviting us into your home and to meet your cats). I wanted to ask what toy it is that you have? The exact make if possible? We are adopting two kittens and have a small space and the toy that you use looks amazing - we would love to have the same and can't find it anywhere. Also, your water fountain is gorgeous so if you could let us know where that's from to then that would be amazing. I really hope that you and your cats are well during this difficult time. And thank you again for making such gorgeous videos - they have really, really helped and been ever so inspirational. Very best, J

Thanks for your encouraging comment! The toy I used is called Jackson Galaxy Ground Prey Wand -> I simply just attached some wings to it with an elastic band for it to make some noise! This is the link to it if you would like to have a look: amzn.to/36rnWEw Unfortunately, the water fountain is only available here in Korea and I've tried to find it elsewhere but couldn't. Sorry about that!

Hi, new subscriber here, I love your videos! They’re super helpful ☺️ I was wondering where you got that cat feeder from with the storage behind it. I can’t find that exact one you have anywhere.
@monsieurtn4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your comment - I bought this feeder a lonnnnng time ago in Korea. So I'm sure it'll be a bit hard to find. I'm not even sure about what brand it is. Sorry! But nowadays there are lots of better cat feeders but I haven't felt the need to change yet!

Do your cats ever get tired of the wand toy? I have a Russian blue who seems to lose interest in any one toy very quickly. I have a fishing pole toy with different attachments and sometimes she wouldn’t chase it no matter what attachment I put on the end. She’s a kitten still btw. I wonder if that’s normal 😭 also, do you have any advice for enforcing mealtimes if your cat is a grazer? I’ve tried doing 3 meals a day but she would just eat a tiny bit at a time and leave the rest, so it ends up like free feeding anyway 😂 do you take the food away after some time even if she didn’t finish? Thank you!
@monsieurtn2 жыл бұрын
Yes, some of my cats are a bit tired of the wand toy, try some getting some fetching toys like small rubber balls and springs to alternate the activity with them. Cats learn to fetch quite easily as kittens. Hahaha yeah, if your cat is leaving a lot of food, just take away a good portion of it but still leave a little in just in case she's a nibbler.

@@monsieurtn thanks for the tips! My cat is a very picky fetcher and only fetches her favorite toy (which she lost somewhere…) 😂 other toys she would chase them and then not know what to do with them lol. She’s also a very picky eater and barely eats enough food even with free feeding so I haven’t tried very hard to enforce mealtimes. I want to try again though since I keep reading it’s good for cats.

Hey, Quick question what breed is the fully grey cat?

Hi! He's a Russian Blue! If you want to learn more about this Breed in apartments I wrote a guide about them on my website! You can read it here: monsieurtn.com/are-russian-blue-cats-good-for-apartments/

I have a solid gray cat who isn’t a Russian Blue but he looks like one. He’s a Domestic Shorthair. Gray cats are awesome.
