Our boy17 and our girl 15 passed away a year apart,the boy, since day1his 1st Christmas was hell bent on taking down the tree,when we added the girl she joined him and with out fail the tree was their Christmas , I only wish I had a camera to capture the tree falling on my husband or my boy cleaning his teeth on a fiberoptic tree,thank God it was unplugged

me and my mom got a fake one bc she said my cat Little Man would eat the needles. But if u put something under the tree and throw away the needles now and then (We dont put on ordaments much anymore and we would get small trees bc we have a small house and not a very high cealing) it would be fine.

Some people need to learn to anchor their trees to the wall at a minimum of two points...preferably with wire. Also, make sure that pets can’t get to the tree water as the tree leaches a toxic chemical into the water. Also, shatterproof ornaments are a godsend.
