When I first found cattle decap online I thought they had to have 2-3 vocalists, when I saw them live I realized Travis I’d just built like that

Yea hes trys to mimic carcass's style of vocals. He trys to recreate that beautiful wall of sound early carcass was great at.

Love the slight amount of extra goofyness that's in Travis' Goblin screams in live shows, not sure if it's due to the full scream being hard to do live, him preserving his voice or just the way audio comes out live. But it mixes up the live shows in a nice way.
@nicholassinnett2958 Жыл бұрын
It sounds like he's using a slightly different technique to preserve his voice. He does it a lot with his growls too, way more of his natural voice in the lows than in the studio. There's a moment at 11:27 where it sounds like he's actually doing the pitched vocals studio-style for one line. Maybe he needs to strain more when he does them that way.
@Rubbish_4 ай бұрын
@@nicholassinnett2958I’ve figured them out to an extent (not even comparable to his) and I can confirm that they’re tough and pretty fatiguing for even just a single song. As well as the rest of his techniques they’re all incredible intense so I get why he leans more towards his voice, still sounds unbelievable.

As much as i love these guys, they use to be a little rough live. Think they've started playing to a click track within the past couple years, im super glad they made the change, they're actually tight af live now.

Do they ever play any of their older stuff live nowadays? Like before they changed their sound(Humanure, Karma.Bloody.Karma., The Harvest Floor). The Harvest Floor and Humanure is what got me into this band back in like 2010 and theyve been my favourite band ever since. Just sucks they dont play songs off their best albums anymore
