Have you been demoted to the van while Liam has your wagon on the lowloader? Cattle are brought inside to maintain condition as the nutritional value of the grass reduces, being inside uses less energy so body condition doesn't reduce and also to prevent poaching of the fields , traditional native breeds do less damage to the ground as they are lighter than continental stock.

It is because they have to bring them in to keep them dry and warm else they start and lose weight in winter if they are out side ❤😂
