Had a good laugh at this vid, bought back memories of around 60 years ago, as i was bought up on a farm. Stock yard work was a circus sometimes, lots of yelling, colourful language and clashing instructions. Jack, you got to realize that your right but your wrong when it comes to discussions with the " manager"😉

Great video guys, thank you. Iinteresting to see how the beasts are coerced into the chute. POV is the way to keep things interesting. I honestly thought Jasmine was going to stop and chuck Jack out of the vehicle. A bit of friendly banter on the drive home 🤣🤣.

Love the channel. This brought back great memories of 1983; when as a very naive 18 yr old english boy, I spent 6 months on the NT/Queensland border as a jackeroo. Brahman bulls are just the business !! Less naive by the time I left: I could butcher cattle, shoe a horse, ride a bull (well fall off at least!) and catch and throw a scrubber bull. Great times !

great video, everyone sure has to be on their toes, eyes in the back of their heads, when in the corrals with some of the stock. Good thing there is no trunk in your rigs as Jasmine would have you ride in there on the way home.. Like how she can hold her own and kick your butt in conversation on the way back. You are a lucky man.

Hi Jack and Team, bit tough about the cow. Wow, that last fiery one gave you all a run for your money. Great update video. Nothing like a good robust conversation. Looked like another tough day with the heat.

I knew the odds of that cow ever getting up were very slim. When you started lifting and she didn't try to get up, then she was done. Once a cow gives up on her will to live, theres nothing you can do for them.

Yeah gee fellas a proper pen before force yard with a big gate would go a long way to to reducing stress on your cattle those last cows would have run back through that panel drag area when they were calves the correct infrastructure is everything in low stress livestock haning

You didn't show it but when you put that cow down, did you harvest any of the meat?
@jack_out_the_back
@jack_out_the_back 5 ай бұрын
No, she was not in good condition and she was worked up and angry. The meat would have been dog meat only. It was also the end of the day and a very hot one at that. None of us had the desire to spend the time or effort when we still had to get home and unload the truck and feed hay.

Self mustering, we have permanent yards around the water. When we want to catch them, we close the yards so they can come in to drink but can’t go out. Yes we do but in the cooler months not summer.

For example when you had the huge herding bull in the shute😊 What's do you think 😅he's going to do if you ever try to load him up again. Electrocution in the anus??? Please continue to vlog ❤❤

👍👍 ummm Jasmine.........Jack is many things, but like the overwhelming majority of males, he is not a mind reader. A llllllllllile more context of what you're thinking, don't be stingy with your verbosity. I will give you one thing, the path he took initially, as soon he said "revolver", I knew he was in the wrong track........but a couple more words of elaboration from you could have prevented it, even if that wouldn't have been as entertaining as what actually ensued! Hope the rest of the muster after this day went smoothly. * edit for capitalisation, my old English teachers are so disappointed in me!
