With plasma cutters, the main thing isn't pressure, it's CFM of the compressor. A little pancake compressor could run it because they get up to 100-120psi, but it doesn't have the volume or CFM to keep filling what a plasma cuter would demand. So really you'd only get like 30-40 seconds of cut time with something like that.

How does a guy like you not have a good air compressor ? I would check Face Book Marketplace and get a real one used

5:00.. it's not really that fragile Big Cat.. they're more durable than you would think...NTM you can get them anywhere for cheap...
