These stories remind me so much about my choir class. I met a girl in choir class and we got to become friends. Whenever she was having problems, I would help her and comfort her. We were friends for a couple of months until one day, my friend accused me of calling her a bitch and telling her to break up with her boyfriend when I never said any of that. I went home, heartbroken and I cried into my sister's arms when I did and what made it harder was that I had plans on inviting her for my birthday. Two weeks later, soon the whole class was hating me and even treated me horribly in front of the teacher. "Don't let [me] help you!" "I didn't ask for your opinion, [me]!" "Nobody asked you, [me]" And on the day before my birthday, the main choir teacher pulled everyone into groups. Nobody knew what it was about until me and the last group were called in. Turns out, the teacher that witnessed the bullying had reported to the head teacher about what happened. The head teacher ended up talking to every group about how she would not tolerate bullying and harassment in her classroom. A year or so later, I found out why the class treated me horribly; MY FRIEND, who accused me of calling her a bitch and to break up with her boyfriend, HAD SPREAD AND STARTED RUMORS TO THE WHOLE CHOIR CLASS. I was heartbroken even more that my ex-friend basically backstabbed me not once, but twice. In my Junior year, rumors and bullying happened again in the same classroom so I ended up dropping out because I was fed up with the mistreatment. Sadly, my bullying case was dropped by the school due to no main suspect and no evidence of the bullying. However, I am happier now that I dropped out of the choir class. I still sing and won't ever stop singing, no matter what.

I'm sorry but I can't feel sympathy for this girl, I had a friend whose home life was terrible and made him resort to the same mix of weed and alcohol, but even being crossfaded off his ass most days he never publicly talked bad about any of his friends, he cried next to me once because of how the drugs were affecting him and how he didn't want to lose friends over him not being able to fulfill plans with them. What she was doing behind their back has nothing to do with getting crossfaded she was just a bad friend period.

As someone who’s been backstabbed, I haven’t been the same since. I’ve been struggling for months and every time I think I’m going to heal I get depressed all over again. It was from my best friend since 7th grade and I trusted her enough to tell her what another toxic friend had been doing to me, but the toxic friend started to spread rumors about me and she instantly believed them. I tried to ask her what she said about me but she refused to tell me. We stopped talking for a while but I became really depressed without her. We tried to reconnect and she told me to not talk about the toxic friend because she was going to remain in the middle (we were in a pretty large friend group but I got kicked out because they all believed the rumors) so I respected her decision, until I saw her talking sh!t about me with the toxic friend. She wouldn’t even let me defend myself and was manipulative asf. One day I saw this girl sitting by herself (she also used to be in their friend group but got kicked out like I did) and I said “Looks like someone else got kicked out.” And she screamed at me to not talk about that. I got really upset but she wouldn’t let me even say anything and after the weekend she ignored me and is now trying to spite me by acting the same way we did when we were friends and making posts about me. I’m now friends with the girl who was sitting alone and she’s so amazing. But I don’t think I’m going to recover from what my other friend did to me.

I can relate to the second story. I had a friend(Alie) who I was friends with since 1st grade. One day she had me meet one of her friends(Courtney). I started becoming friends with her, and ended up being friends with her for a year. Courtney showed me one of her friends(Tara) and it became a whole friend group. But later on they started calling Alie TERRIBLE THINGS! And I tried to fit it and I said the same things about Alie just because I wanted to fit in. One day Courtney told me something that WASN'T true, so I believed her and said really REALLY bad things towards Alie. And Alie's mom found out so I got in trouble, but after I was ungrounded I continued to be friends with Courtney and stopped being friends with Alie. And around January 2023 I realized EVERYTHING i was doing and what they were doing. So i stopped being friends with Courtney and Tara. I still cry about it and feel like throwing myself off a bridge for saying those things. I will always live with that guilt inside of me and its awful. Also I used fake names cuz no one deserves any hate no matter what they did or do. We were all going through a really bad stage of our lives.
