Nice video Max. I enjoyed your enthusiasm on this trip! If I can offer one piece of advice be careful with the speed when you go through the big puddle of water. Some is good but to much can flood your engine compartment which can lead to even bigger problems.

Good work max ! On cold winter days I rely on cuddles with my golden retriever Daisy !! But also invest in hand warmers and a heated blanket for winter camping ! One thing that help not feeling the sore throat from breathing in cold air all night is one of the masks that cover your whole face besides the eyes ! Good luck to you mate ! You should also get a water pump with a hose so it can be more accessible. I usually just wash it then rinse it off and that’s it. It does suck when it is cold though.

You can get a blue tarp and those black paperclips and set them to your tailgate so you have some protection from rain/wind. The cold might also wear down your battery so make sure your solar panel is set to keep it charged. Awesome video. Great cinematic shots.

lowes 2 pcs .75 x 10 ft thinwall conduit 12x 8 poly tarp ace hardware 2 rubber corks to fit tight in conduit 2 2inch screws 20 ft of paracord makes a great awning . Im 67 have the same setup you do

Wow never been out there in the winter only the summer. You only have a short window to do it in the snow looks like you hit it right. I paddle board out to the island in the summer.

Great video. You are young. Enjoy life and outdoor. Solo camping is great, but find friends to go with, more fun and safer. Invest in awning, don’t need expensive one, just simple one is ok at the beginning and propane fire pit to enjoy being outside in cold weather.

Hey Maxwell. I think I made this same suggestion like a year ago, but you should look into a Clam or Gazelle brand gazebo tent. Or just make an awning like a few others already suggested. 👍 I know the gazebo shelters are a little pricey. I have the smaller 5 sided gazebo shelter from Gazelle, and I've really gotten good use out of it. It has wall inserts that I attach in cold weather to hold in heat, and then run my buddy heater in it. Holds in heat well with the walls attached. Makes it a lot nicer to spend time outside in the winter. I have no affiliation with any of the brands. Just like the product and thought it would be a great addition to you setup
