We got off right in Venice 10 years ago. Well the water buses must have been new since then. We use the vaporatos.

Enjoyed your series on your Med Cruise. We enjoy traveling ourselves and, to date, have been to 47 countries in all 7 continents, including Antarctica. We love Italy and have been to Venice 2 or 3 times. The first time in 1998, we also experienced the flooding. We had to take care in back to our hotel from San Marco Square as to not accidently walk off into the canal. We are planning on going back as part of our 2025/2026 vacation and take ptakinart in the 2026 Venetian Carnival. Note: Also saw your series of the Christmas Market riverboat cruise. As part of our 2025/2026 vacation, we'll be taking a Christmas Market riverboat cruise from Amsterdam to Basel, where we'll be in Germany for Christmas. Then will be in Paris for New Years and ending our vacation in Venice for the Carnival.
