We were there in November 2021. As a Scotsman, I didn’t think we would enjoy englands capital. But it was fantastic. Loved visiting all the landmarks and the underground. Harry Potter studios is amazing.👍🏴

We missed out on the HP studios tour but would definitely like to do it next time!

@@travelwithjoshandtaylor, next time if you're in or around Paddington Station look for Paddington Bear statues he is either hanging about on a bench or leaning on something , if you're not sure about him he's in loads of his childrens books and a film . Don't forget the tourists bit in Kings Cross Station about Harry Potter ( I think the stations are very close to eachother ) .

I was in the military there in London for 2 years! Can not wait to go back there! Loved it! Getting around the Tube (train) is very easy once you get used to it!

We can’t wait to get back too! We had such a great time. I’m sure it’s easy to navigate once you get used to it, but oh boy, crazy to think how deep you go!

I love London and was there 11 years ago for only a couple of days. I hope to go back and stay much longer and tour more of the UK. The "tube" is great. Easy to navigate and a safe way to get around.

Never been to London. That’s on my bucket list! Btw, people in NYC do the same thing on escalators, stand on the right and walk up on the left. ;)

Awesome video, we just got back from our third trip to the UK in less than 12 months and London is our favorite city. I do have a question, what video settings are you using on your Sony? I took my A4 and all my videos are bouncy and choppy:(
@travelwithjoshandtaylor Жыл бұрын
Hi Fitz! I'd need to know what shots your talking about. We use several different cameras for our videos. I use a Sony A1, I shoot full manual at 4k60 and with aperture priority. Everything just takes practice and knowing the capabilities of your gear.

Love London! It is one of my favorite cities. Whenever I go to Europe, I always make it a point to stop in London on my way home to the US. Correction on your on your comment about the escalator and people standing on the right hand side if they are not moving and how you wish the US would do the same but think it would never happen. Actually, it is also an unwritten rule in the US as well. May be you just never noticed it. I travel a lot for work and also lived/worked in big cities where there are tons of escalators everywhere. I see people standing on the right and leaving the left side open for others to pass. I think the ones in the US that don't do it fall in one of these categories: (1) entitled people who just don't care, (2) those oblivious to their surroundings, and (3) those who haven't lived in the US long enough and from countries where the same is NOT an unwritten rule. It falls in line with the same logic that when you go to fast food restaurants in the US, there is an unwritten rule that you clean up after yourselves. There are those that do and those that don't.

what's with the tap in/tap out business?
@leafyvlogsuk Жыл бұрын
When using a card (Oyster or a debit or credit card to pay) the system works out your fare based on how far you travel on your journey (tap in then out). There's a daily cap that once you reach it you won't be charged any more for that day.
@lawrenceglaister4364 Жыл бұрын

Ps, I live within ten miles of two 600 year old Minsters ( which are thankfully entirely intact ), ten churches that are between 700 and 1000 years old ( all more or less intact ) and a couple of 1000 year old Abbeys - destroyed by Protestantism.
