🎉This is my favorite DayTripper stealth camp yet! Your knowledge, experience, and stealth gear kept you hidden from the kids. ❤ it!😊 #GETOUTDOORS

Thanks so much Grace Digga. I’m honoured. The kids did n’t really worry me only the risk they may unknowing throw a brick in my direction. I just want nobody to know I’m there that is how I know I’m safe for the night 👍😄

Wow that was close!! Think I was more nervous watching than you were actually being there. Good to see you on another stealth camp, you’ve inspired me to get out again once I get chance (on my 6th week of sciatica so pretty much stuck indoors unfortunately). That car is awesome, classic! Thanks for sharing, I’ll look forward to seeing more from you. All the best… Day

Thanks Day hope you feel better soon that’s painful I know. Yes it’s not always easy to get out and harder to get back into it but once you get out again you get inspired to do more all over again 👍

Awesome job Richard. As someone who suffers from chronic disabling pain I find your adventures very inspiring. You are dead right that it is a great feeling to get away from the grind and recalibrate your system every now and then. Keep up the good work. Look forward to your next stealth instalment.

Great video Richard, good to have you back. That’s my go to place for a last minute camp. throughout that entire place you picked the riskiest place to get caught so hats off to you sir, check the area out on Google maps coz literally behind the trees you look at from the pill box is the best spot
@DayTripperAdventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks Grant - I wanted to see the estuary and was also confident this time of year the grass is long enough to provide cover for my low profile shelter which proved right this time but it was a close one

@@DayTripperAdventures great vid mate, so risky there with all the dog walkers and the kids running around plus the patrol man who comes around early doors sometimes, very risky spot you picked there so again hats off to you, keep up with the great content mate

Hi Tim - good to know. Where were the other two favourite camps? Was one of then Grain Tower? If so must mean we should do another camp at some point. With the youngsters I was not worried if they saw me but I would have had to bail as I don’t camp in places like that on my own if I know people have seen me. It’s peace of mind to be stealth and unseen 👍
@BourneOutside Жыл бұрын
@@DayTripperAdventures Hahaha, yes this and Grain Tower Battery. If you have been rumbled, it’s best to bail as you don’t know if they’ll return in the early hours to cause harm to you. I am always ready for another camp out with you 😁👍🏼

@DayTripperAdventures Жыл бұрын
Hi Nikki, thanks you just want nobody to know you are there. That is the safety net on these camps. If they saw me I would bail just in case they would come back later. The tent is Snugpak Ionosphere in the camo

Good to see another stealth camp. But that was close l guess the worst part would have been the embarrassment of having to explain what you are doing. Lucky Xiwang wasnt with you are barked and given you away. l guess the only way to pity much guarantee not to get caught is not to set up camp untill just as it gets dark and leave in the morning at first light as almost no one goes walking at night out in those places and if they did they wouldnt see you in the dark
@DayTripperAdventures Жыл бұрын
Hi John, yes easier to set up with some light so always a battle in the mind. It was already sunset when I set up but just shows you you never know who may be around. If they saw me it was more risk of them coming back in the night.

Baffles me that people worry about getting caught camping in a tent in middle of a field. You seen how many homeless duggies sleeping in tents scattered about, people don't bother them they just feel bad for the most part. Your not gonna get bothered by anyone unless it's a bunch of teenage rogues on the prowl lol and they'd bother anyone they come across wether they're in a tent or just walking down the street
@DayTripperAdventures Жыл бұрын
Did you watch the video and notice who almost saw me? It’s not the fact people see you is the fact that once seen you don’t feel safe as others know you are there and may come back
