Nice video , wished we had that clear water down here in St Bernard , La. still in all I’m a firm believer in that Procure , Threadfin Shad I use on hard plastic baits for Reds , tight lines , will be looking for future videos from y’all over there 👍

Thanks Karl! Much appreciated. The water is only this clear here in the Intracoastal waterway. The other inshore areas aren't so clear. I'm gonna try out the threadfin Shad flavor as well! Thanks for the tip!

What type of water clarity are you using purple death on? Just kinda getting started on artificials and colors been confusing me. I know darker colors in dark water and lighter more realistic colors in clearer water but where does things like purple, green, or light pink come in? Kinda in the middle? Also where does straight white come in?

Great questions! The reason I use purple death so much is because I believe it to be an "in between" bait. I fish it in dark water and in lighter water. It's perfect for both. I usually only fish pink and white in the lighter waters. Also, if you are specifically targeting flounder in creeks mouths, you can use pink and white there too. They love those two colors!

I believe my mom went out the day before this. It was actually from a coupe of months ago. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get out there in a long while. Hoping to get out there before the summer though.
