I was wondering if you ever caught any Croaker or Whiting in or around the Charleston area ... pr if you could suggest any areas in South Carolina where I could catch enough to eat, Thank you very much and God Bless 😊
@SCFishTales6 сағат бұрын
Yes, basically everywhere you go there are whiting. I think the easiest place to get to them without a boat is just go to any beach and surf fish.

Do you really notice a difference with pro cure vs not using it?
@SCFishTalesАй бұрын
I really do! If I get a couple short strikes in a row without hooking the fish, I go and put some of that scent on, and I usually catch them on the next immediate cast.
@chmurray4644Ай бұрын
@ nice!! Im trying to improve my artificial fishing catch rate! My goto is live bait either the trusted Carolina rig on the bottom or live bait under a cork but i want to break away from that sometimes.

Do mullet just act scared sometimes when there running the grassline or is there something actually there making them run scared??
@SCFishTales5 ай бұрын
It's usually a bit of both. They get scared at the lightest movement around them. If it's fish chasing them, you usually see a blow up by the school!

How heavy of a jig head are you using with the water depth your fishing here? I know lighter 1/10 -1/6 for 2-4ft. At low tide the ends of these docks usually hold deeper water. Just curious what weight your using to get your bait in the strike zone.
