The first lady should check and see if the state offers people in need free transportation to and from doctor appointments or the grocery store or whatever they need. That way she can cut the cord from her son and not have to rely on him so that he can be held responsible for any traffic tickets and insurance and gas. It's his fault that he has a felony record and can't find a job. It is also no reason for him to go on SSI if he is able to work. That's just my opinion and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
@genkatqltr7375 жыл бұрын
You make an excellent point about the transportation! Surely the woman would be told by her doctors or whoever pays for her daughter's medical treatments about such a program. I even wondered if she even had a disabled daughter and she was trying to scam the judge. Maybe that's why the judge was getting stern with her about making her son straighten up! She sure didn't like that lecture!

@DeconvertedMan6 жыл бұрын
Well, what job can she do, and would you hire her if you could? What about her son? See the thing is, more places need to hire people and train them. Section 8 is suppose to have a part where they help you get a job. If that is missing then something went wrong with the system at some point. But taking personal responsibility for getting up in life is something people must do for themselves. Also, the son should have gone - where is the father? Ah yes, well we know the answer... because we know what the problem with lots of family is lack of a father figure. This family needs that.

This judge lectures her about coddling her son - yet he coddles everyone. The law is you must come to a complete stop BEFORE you make a right turn when the light is RED. When the light is RED you have to stop before the line, crosswalk, and or intersection THEN turn right so often he dismisses tickets when people violate this law. Its obviously that giving people more money for each child they have is not a hand up that causes them to want to get out of dept and be dept free but is a hand out that has to be continued. TITLE 31 Motor and Other Vehicles CHAPTER 31-13 Traffic Control Devices SECTION 31-13-6 (3) Steady red signals shall have the following meanings: (i) Vehicular traffic facing a steady circular red signal, unless entering the intersection to make another movement permitted by another signal, shall stop at a clearly marked stop line; but if there is no stop line, traffic shall stop before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection; or if there is no crosswalk, then before entering the intersection; and shall remain stopped until a signal to proceed is displayed, or as provided below: (A) Except when a traffic control device is in a place prohibiting a turn on red or a steady red arrow signal is displayed, vehicular traffic facing a steady circular red signal is permitted to enter the intersection to turn right. The right to proceed with the turn shall be subject to the rules applicable after making a stop at a stop sign.
