Aly thanks for your video! I'm convinced plastic surgery is a consequence of a sick culture and society. You are perfect because perfection is imperfection. And we all love you for the way you are. We all have to embrace our dark side as something not fully recognized yet but part of our true Self to be loved. Self esteem doesn't come from surgery or external approval but from being loved and accepted for the way we really are. Inner scars can't be fixed or deleted by surgery!!!!

I've done a plastic surgery and it boosted my self esteem and now I feel much better with myself , so please.. put your philosophy aside and let people do what they feel they should. Thanks for this great and useful video, Ely. For me plastic surgery will be absolutely justified in case you had a big complex that you cannot cope with or does make you feel bad with yourself or make you feel very insecure or inferior such as cauliflower ears ,a huge hooked nose and other noticeable defects that may have an impact on your mental health. By the way I need to get my legs waxed because since the coronavirus started I couldn't go to get them done, it's quite risky going into those beauty salons even if you are wearing a good mask.

I wouldn't like to get anything done. I am perfect just the way I am. I'm pretty sure people should go to get plastic surgery only if it is crucial for their health and is recommended by their doctor. Accident scars or burns are also a very good reason because it may seriously affect mental health, but things like "I'd like to change my lips/hips and lift my face" is not an example of a reason at all.

In Italian, we use the reflexive form for the same purpose. “Mi sono tagliato i capelli” means “I had my hair cut”, and not “I cut my hair myself” (unless you specify it). This pretty much applies to all Romance languages. PS: you definitely DON’T need plastic surgery. Please don’t. Your face is sexy and charming as it is. It’s our unique features that make each of us special. Why would you want to look like one Ken more? (Ken as in Barbie and Ken).

No it is uncorrect. In french one has to say "je me suis fait couper les cheveux" to say sb did it for you and not "je me suis coupé(e) les cheveux unless you actually cut your hair yourself. and so is it for your own language as well and for spanish and probably for portuguese and romanian...La forma corretta nella tua lingua sarebbe "Mi sono fatto/a tagliere i capelli". What you said is just a grammatical mistake indeed common in romance languages including french (again unless you want to say you actually cut your hair on your own ofc). Yes, people, you may hear this wrong structure in romance languages native speakers all around but beware that is uncorrect and unformal.
