*I learned so much from Caustic I am at a loss for words in gratitude to the creator.* I was already competent with DAW's and a small variety of sequencers, but I had only scored a few elaborate pieces decades ago in the common and outlandish piano reel GUI's, and Caustic enabled me to do it again but with far more skill, artistry and technical competency. As of right now, Caustic remains my true-blue drum machine for exporting to my current DAW, Magix2023 of all things lol. Between those 2 apps, I can crank out full orchestra symphonies! lol *I am eternally grateful for what you built for everyone.* I am also a melodic death metal shred and instrumental guitarist making me the most unusual of users married to the app.

Just bought this on Android. It really doesn't get any better than this for music production on a phone. Amazing. On a PHONE! Can't wait for the next update! Feature requests would be: maybe more effects allowed per channel (if your phone can handle it. Mine can.) Better sound quality and/or mastering section? Finally a quality synth similar to Sylenth1 VST. Just one synth with presitine quality again, if your phone can handle it. Maybe there could be a disclaimer on this somewhere. A Sylenth1 quality synth would seriously bring it to a new level as if it's wasn't already high enough!

Means: compared to the diggin´-arround BlahBlah-fraction (commenting their stumbling arround in uncountable tutorials) THIS is a BREEZE, easy to follow an super-usefull. Top level in structure, with well dosed hints. One of the most comprehensive clips I ever saw on platform youtube - and, having said all that - ... THIS is an example of information-transport, ANY planing tutorialmaker should see BEFORE starting shootings into the blue. The video-concept contains ONLY do´s, no dont´s. Very, very, very rare. 04:30 Why does shrinking it down require a long press if there's going to be a confirmation anyway? Curious and should add answer to the captions or an anotation
@OrangeC78 жыл бұрын
It's because of how the app works. Just clicking it already has an action, clicking it shows you that many measures. So, we assign a click and hold action. (Rather than right click, to make it mobile-friendly) Does that make sense?
@TheNewton8 жыл бұрын
OrangeCreeper217 if the clicking action is already to set it to 2 measures, why long press and get a confirmation to set it to 2 measures?
@OrangeC78 жыл бұрын
You are probably misunderstanding, you reset it to one measure by long pressing the 2 measure button. You need confirmation, because you might not want to lose the notes* you made in that part of the measure. Now do you understand? *Depending on machine type
@TheNewton8 жыл бұрын
OrangeCreeper217 rofl if that's the case what's the point of the 1 measure button? It's not resetting it to the default 1 measure it's downscaling it to 2 measures from 4. Narrator and dialogue box both say 2 measures.

@CausticApp9 жыл бұрын
T-bone Spice This usually happens when people run so called cleaner apps like Clean Master. These apps like to delete my presets and then brag about how they've save you lots of disk space. sigh. Anyway to get the demo presets back, connect your device to a PC via USB (or use a file explorer app), browse to the "caustic" directory, locate the file called "config" and delete it. When you restart Caustic it will think it's running for the first time and will copy over the demo content again. This won't affect any of your songs.
