I have to say I'm not surprised the kitten passed. She was so precious, but I've never had a rejected -by-moma cat kitten survive. They have like a 6th sense about their kittens. It's very sad but i swear it's the investment of resources thing. I'm sorry she didn't make it. Robin is such a good mom - she went and got Drew for help. One thing about the purring - it's a contented thing but it can also be self-soothing (like humans rocking). Today isn't a good day - Beatrix has been busy! I lost one of my medications that treats fibromyalgia but is technically an anti-depressant. I'm getting a new bottle, but between random pains (like inner thigh cramps), nightmares, and unreasonable anger, poor Beatrix has been busy all day. I'm glad Robin could give her warmth and love ❤. Robin is just so sweet to babies... She's kind of a mean girl to other adult dogs. 😂.

I’m sorry that the kitten passed away. I really enjoyed watching Robin take care of her, listening to her little mews, and seeing her snuggling with Robin, the puppies, and the plushie. I wonder what the puppies thought of the kitten? Do you think they could tell that she wasn’t a puppy like them?

You know, I’m really not sure what they thought of her. What I couldn’t help but notice though was how when Robin was taking care of her, the puppies started coming over to me a lot more for snuggles. It’s like they saw her taking attention away from them so they started coming out of their shells and began expressing interest in what they wanted.
