So here are LeBron's fans excuses (including Shannon Sharpe), before the series: "LeBron is a one man army. He's better than Michael Jordan and that is why they will beat the Warriors." After they lose: "LeBron is only one man. He can't do it all by himself." Now all of a sudden they realize what it takes to win a basketball game...a team.

Don't blame Bron. He's gonna bring it every night. The blame needs to be put on those bums that he plays with. they all want him to save them as usual. if they keep this up this series is OVER in 4
@infiniteimprovement7 жыл бұрын
Lennis Neal It's not LeBron's fault but still he needs to do better if he wants to win his 4th ring and put himself in the conversation with Jordan as the GOAT. He can not afford to be outplayed and he's been outplayed by Durant twice. LeBron needs to go into that Jordan/Kobe mode if he wants to beat this team and attack the basket start to finish, he's so big and strong that unless they start clogging the paint and leaving teammates wide open they can't stop him. To his credit he does this in beginning of games and they stay with the Warriors it's when he starts trying to be unselfish that the Warriors pull away. He isn't the reason they are losing but he does need to play better if they are to win. If it's unfair oh well, he's trying to become the greatest of all time.
@lennisneal65957 жыл бұрын
Isaac Royal I totally agree with you. But at some point in time his boys gotta make shots. They can't just pick and choose when they wanna show up. This is the FINALS. Steph is locked in. KD is locked in. Kyrie, Kevin, JR, Tristian, and the rest of them are no where to be found. When Bron is on the bench they gotta be able to sustain a lead or at least be able to keep it close while Bron gets a break. If not he'll be wore out
@infiniteimprovement7 жыл бұрын
Lennis Neal that's true not only are they not showing up offensively but they aren't locked in on defense either. Kyrie especially needs to show up, he has to remember that he's unguardable and play with the edge he played with last year. Love is actually playing pretty well though which is ironic since last year he's the one who needed to step up instead of Kyrie.

Is this a serious question? How can one even consider blaming LeBron? People want this man to score 100 points per game and even then they'll still find something bad to say about that. JHatch65 exactly bro. The cavs made terrible accusitions, korver, Jr Smith, fry, the other dude for get his name Lol. They should have gotten role player that can create their own shot an can play defense. Lebron is the one to blame for these accusitions trying to dictate ownership moves. Now there getting beat an we blame role players Lol well hello the scouting report say korver got bricks for feet, fry hasn't done nothing since suns, jet Smith is a streaky shooter who plays like his buddy carmelo(if I can't get the ball an make shots im not playing defense) I mean come on guys. They play nobody's all through the playoffs an now you want to blame it on the bench. Ownership an lebron needs to take alot of the blame. Brussard disappoints me, even though I consider him an honest man. Does he, or any other Lebron fan for that matter, ever wonders how come Lebron never managed to built a truly dominant super team, a dynasty, even though from 2010 onwards he's been given a stupendous amount of money and talent to support him? In fact he has lost more than he has won and he has lost much more convincingly than he has won. Why is that? The man is simply NOT the best basketball player, but merely the most dominant just like Shaq was. He has absolutely failed to really work on his weaknessess for the past 14 years and instead opted to surround himself with players that help him hide them. Instead of developping a midrange game and go to moves other than muscling his opponent out of the way, to avoid getting exposed by quality defenses, post the 2011 finals he has been surrounding himself with elite shooters and spread power forwards so no team can clog the paint without paying the price. He forced two franchise players in Love and Bosh to change their game, in order for the lane to always be open. Just like in Miami, slowly his teamates turn into motionless shooters waiting to be fed the ball to shoot. And when they face a great defense, they simply lack the rythm that a free flow offense offers and become ineffective. Furthermore, his stamina has always been suspect and it has been factually proven that when having to work intensely on both ends of the court for too many minutes and consecutive games, he gets gassed out very quickly. Instead of working on that, he killed competition in the East, forming his super teams and secured a relaxed path to the Finals each year. But that comes back to sting you bad, when you face a Spurs 2014 offense or the current Dubs. He and his team, simply lack the ability to sustain a high tempo rythm for whole games. They new what was awaiting them in the Finals since last year and instead of coming ready, they were cruising for 9 months.

mskidi W.. You just single handedly shut down The Media hype..and the bandwagon
@seanswinton62424 жыл бұрын
mskidi Damn, you killed it! I was thinking the same thing and that's why I don't think LeBron is as great as the media paints him. No new developments in his game and getting the best players to be the best in the weak Eastern Conference. Now that he's in the West, he can't slack off and use the same stacking tactics he did in the East. We saw what Kevin Durant's done since going further West and using LeBron's stacking to perfection by joining the Warriors. Kevin didn't stack the Warriors, they adjusted to fit him in and didn't miss a beat. Egos are checked on the Warriors to their success. There is no deference to anyone , but to the "man on fire" on any given night. We saw "Playoff Mode" LeBron last year and what happened? Nothing. Lakers missed the playoffs. That was the LeBron James ego getting checked! If you're the best, then you dance with the one who brought you!" That's why I personally believe LeBron James isn't that great. He's just a stat hound. The other issue for me is LeBron owning an agency for players while still active in the League. Why isn't that a conflict of interest? That gives LeBron leverage over players his agency represents. If he wants to play with you, then it's easy to get them (Anthony Davis). Then if you suck, he has the ability to drop you from his company or go to team officials to have you cut or traded. That's BS and why any great player wouldn't play with LeBron James. Sorry for the rant, but seeing your post was therapeutic! Thank You Very Much! 👏👏

That's the issue, y'all are caught up on numbers. It's the system that they play in, it's flawed. It's isolation basketball. Westbrook had a triple double season, it doesn't matter because it's an ISO system. The Cavs defense suck and their transition defense suck. They were 22nd in the league. That's why they are losing. All I'm say is it's a double standard. If the Warriors were down 0-2 and Kevin Durant still was scoring like is , he would still get the blame but when it comes to Lebron he gets no blame. Lebron is a SF, and he plays the PG position, you have a PG that does not play the point guard position. All they do is drive to the basket and kick it out to whoever is open at the three point line. You are not going to beat an elite team like that. You people give Lebron too much credit for the championship last year. It's amazes me, how when Golden State won the championship they played it down because Kevin and Kyrie got hurt. Then when the Cavs won, y'all felt like they just came back because they were the greatest. Draymond should've been suspended in the OKC game when he kicked dude. No, but they commissioner didn't do that. He waited until and suspended draymond in a game 5 and Bogut got hurt. Golden state had their rom protector gone but no one don't take that into account. Lebron basically begged Adam to suspend draymond. With that being said. If you disagree with all this then you don't know nothing about basketball. You may know about pick up street ball in which the Cavs play. You don't know anything about organized basketball. 😎

I don't know how much blame he deserves, coming from a Warriors fan, I felt REALLY sad for the guy. He was ballin in the 1st half and they were STILL down. Sometimes you run into better teams and now James is in the shoes of his previous opponents who have had to face his created superteam in Miami to win a chip. One thing that's going to suck for him is that his 7th straight finals feat will be VASTLY overshadowed by the dynasty of the Warriors. When people talk about the best team of this generation, they'll be talking about the Warriors and how Stpeh and KD won 4-5 chips in like 5-6 years. If Lebron never wins another championship and keeps losing to the Warrior in the next 2-3 years, he'll be like 3-7 in the Finals. No GOAT in the HISTORY of ANY sport has a record like that in the finals..

If KD is a snake for leaving a city he has no connection with and made no promises to, to join a great team, then what is Lebron for: -visibly quitting in his last series with the Cavs, even his die hard fans noticed... -because he knew he was about to team up with 2 superstars that he had planned for a while already -makes a 1 hour TV special to pick a team, because he's too important to announce it regularly -only came back to join 2 younger, newer stars, and gets on his high horse for returning to Cleveland AT LEAST KD DOMINATING LIKE LEBRON SHOULD HAVE THEIR FIRST YEAR IN MIAMI. Instead, he pulled off an ALL TIME CHOKE

The man has to be aggressive to score going to the basket all game while pushing the pace, he has to play PG and be the primary offensive ball handler and distributer to setup everyone else, has to guard KD, then at times be the rim protector, all while playing nearly 40 minutes. All while getting nothing from their second best scorer and bench. And people want to talk about his second half/4th quarter? Blame? You don't think the man is exhausted??!! Mentally taxed??! They're playing probably the most talented team ever assembled. And he's averaging a triple double. Come on man, give Lebron a break. I don't know what else people want from him. He was tired and trying to let Kyrie shoulder some of the load while he tries to catch a breather is not being passive. It's called being strategic except Kyrie was awful. And if people watch Cavs games you'll notice that that's how LBJ and Kyrie play off each other. They will offen defer to each other for those strategic reasons. And before anyone mentions MJ or some other star, ask yourself if any other star including MJ had to shoulder as much responsibility on and off the court as LBJ. If you're honest you'll get the point.

At the end of the day, as a Cavs fan, it's clear that this warriors team with Durant is one of the best 3 teams of all time. Lebron has been playing great so far outside of the turnovers in game 1, but while love has played well, kyrie has been shut down by playing way too much iso ball, jr smith and tristan thompson have disappeared, and the bench has literally given nothing except a couple of points by jefferson in game 1, and some good defense by shumpert in game 2. The only way they can turn it around I believe, is if lebron becomes the full on point forward and they move kyrie to a complete off ball setting, because in the 2nd quarter and a brief spurt in the third when they got the 83-72 lead down to 86-82, lebron running the offense was when they were most efficient. Other than that they got to be tougher in rebounding and just play better on ball defense, and if so, I honestly think they might be able to win a game or two. Besides it's hard to expect curry or durant to be as brilliant on the road, but they still could be great.
