Cave Club is very underrated. It's also on a higher level than Enchantimals because they have articulation and fabric outfits. I'm not surprised that Enchantimals were forgotten, as it was a cheap doll line inspired by the EAH Forest Pixies, but Cave Club deserves to live on and is a more original idea. It's a shame to see them being ignored in the doll community. They may not be as revolutionary as Monster High, but they're still adorable and have decent articulation and clothing. The only one I own is Tella, and she's gorgeous. I love the long hair on her and the whole Crystal/psychic theme she has. It's unique. And I would love to see an origin story of how she first got her telescope and psychic visions. But I admit that as adorable as she is, Bashley's keytar is not time period accurate. She's cute though and her design looks good. If only they had painted on details on their accessories, but that feels like a nitpick for a line aimed at kids.

VERY underrated. I hate that Enchantimals are the way that they are because IMAGINE if they'd been more like Cave Club!! OMG! Enchantimals are actually still being sold and released, they're just online/international only! Tella is FANTASTIC-- she was one of the first ones that I bought. I would also absolutely love to see some more background on the characters too. MOST of Cave Club is historically inaccurate, like the animals that they see, the clothes they wear etc. but it all fits in the world they've created, but I cannot picture a WORKING KEYTAR (or even just a carved one?) in their world at all. Cave Club does an impressive amount of painted detail considering their price point but a little bit more would definitely elevate them!

It really is. I think it's because the popular thing to do in doll social media circles is to treat them like they're complete trash which is such a shame because these dolls ROCK :( Their theme is so unique and exciting and the Monster High designers are behind them too! I really think they're some of the best non "fashion-focused" playline dolls we've gotten in a LONG time, especially from Mattel. I wish Enchantimals had been given this much attention because they really had every reason to be great too.

Even from online pictures I don't understand it-- designs are interesting (I know this is subjective but even if you don't like the theme, the art and design is clearly well thought out...) and the dolls have beautiful face paint and are fully articulated!

@@xCanadensis yes! i feel like it's become such a huge trend to just hate one anything mattel puts on. i see this all the time on instagram particularly from MGA stans. anything mattel puts out even when the line is actually pretty good like the new extra dolls, they don't even think of giving it a chance their first thought is to literally drag it. if you don't like a line that's fine, just don't buy it and move on simple as that. you don't need to talk crap about it 24/7 just to get your point across, you don't need to constantly compare mattel to MGA 24/7. people just really need to grow up, the cave club gets so much unnecessary hate and for what? because it's not monster high? and? they're not trying to be.

I just got my first (second hand) cave club dolls and I'm so glad I found your channel bc you made me love them (and be sad they're gone) even more! I love your excitement and how perfect the theming fits you. I honestly love the theme, and I was never really into dinosaurs or ice age, but still it's such a good and unique theme, how do people not like it??

I just bought her and some other new cave club releases tonight. So far Bashley is my favorite. She is giving me some monster high vibes. The lightning hairpiece, her hair/color scheme, etc. I also ordered the new Rockelle doll. She's so cute.

I feel that with cave club many adult doll collectors (this is a general comment, not aimed at anyone in particular) forget that it is a line aimed at children and get all excited with what MGA are making at the moment. Cave club is designed to be played with, not stuck on a shelf looking pretty. I adore cave club and had I not had a husband who would notice, I would add them to my collection but they should be played with, an ideal toy for Christmas.

I truly believe that a lot of teen-adult doll collectors forget that, at the end of the day, the dolls that we collect are MADE FOR KIDS and not made for us. That doesn't mean we can't love them or that they can't be really cool but we need to stop judging $15 playline dolls in the same light that we judge Barbie collector... it's just not the same ball game. I think the Rockelle and Tyrasaurus set will be popular for Christmas!

I 100% feel you-- that's the only reason that I didn't buy all of Cave Club immediately. I fully intended to buy every single one on launch day but they took over a month to show up in HOUSTON TEXAS and I tried at least 15 stores... So I ended up with Rainbow High first and was just so impressed and in love with them. It's a shame too because I REALLY wanted to give Cave Club the spotlight and had never been SO invested and desperate for a doll line :( Mattel truly blew it with their release. For a company that seems to rely on internet and doll KZbin advertising these days, it is unbelievable that they could not distribute their dolls in a timely manner... Imagine all of the little kids who saw My Froggy Stuff review these dolls and then couldn't even SEE them in stores for over a month... I doubt they'd still even be interested.

Yay I got Bashley too we have Tella, Emberly and Roarali don’t think I’m spelling that correctly. I do want Rockelle on Amazon as well because it’s much cheaper than paying $21 extra for the large dinosaur which I’m honestly just not into 😂. I ordered Fernessa on Walmart since I needed to get free shipping when I ordered Barbie Extra Doll #3. I also enjoyed Enchantimals & Wild Hearts Crew - Kenna Roswell is 1 of my favorite dolls which is saying a lot my daughter & I own tons of omg dolls, Barbie’s, Rainbow High etc

Congrats on getting a hold of Bashley!! I honestly highly recommend the set with the dino as that dino is seriously impressive! I'm not sure if I would have bought her if she didn't come with Rockelle but oh my gosh she is such a fun display for the dolls and is a well-articulated and well-designed figure on her own too! Fernessa has the CUTEST little face, you'll love her! I loved Enchantimals but the prices seemed too high for the quality of toy I was getting :( I wish they had been a LITTLE bit more like Cave Club (with the clothing and articulation..). Wild Hearts Crew was AMAZING but came out at the worst possible time and was immediately swept under the rug because of it :(

xCanadensis yes I have a feeling my 7 year old daughter would love Rockelle with the large dinosaur maybe if I see a sale since $36.99 is high. I agree Enchantimals on prices. Sometimes I find deals on Amazon since I never see them anymore at Walmart & Target. Sometimes stores like Ross or Burlington have them but it’s very hit or miss. I wish had better thrift stores and I have no flea markets 😭. Definitely seems hard for dolls to compete with MGA my daughter is definitely hooked on their toys. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh She is so cute! I am pleasantly surprised there is a wave 2. It is not available in Europe yet. I have just bought Slate recently reduced in my local supermarket. He is so cute and Raoaralei is delighted to have a little friend! I am hoping to find another girl when the shops will reopen in December (I hope they will). I am not planning to collect all the Cave Club dolls. I have no space for that but I am so pleased to have 2! I don't like to have only one of a doll line unless it is expensive dolls like Pullip or Blythe.

I am too! I would be absolutely stunned if Europe didn't get this wave two as usually y'all get everything Mattel has to offer and sometimes you get dolls that we don't get! I really hope your shops reopen (and with them, that the infections have gone WAY down!!) Roralei is the best one in my opinion! Did you know she has a crush on Slate in the lil episodes? @@xCanadensis Oh I did not know! It is perfect! They look so cute together! :-) Roaralei was my favourite and she was the first one I bought a while ago. Then I wanted Slate... Thank you. I hope the shops will reopen too. No Europe does not have anything Mattel has to offer. Wild Heart Crew were never released in Europe. Many EAH lines were never released either. Some MH were never relesed in France (Sweet Screams and other lines). I think Mattel made a mistake with Wild Hearts Crew. They would have sold here I am sure.

Oh Sweet Screams was a Target exclusive. I just mean that, historically (especially with Winx and Enchantimals), Europe would get lines we never got because they were discontinuing the lines and unloading stock over in Europe. Wild Hearts was a disaster from start to finish so I'm not surprised that y'all haven't gotten them but I'm sad that they never got to you! They were such fantastic dolls :(

I want to have slate but cave club is not available here in asia it sucks. Oh no!! I'm so sorry they're not available in Asia :( I thought Rockelle had a baby Tyra but the plush idea is probably the correct one. It's SO cute to me too! I thihnk Rockelle's pigtails made you think she's like Blondie C: (But her face honestly looks like Blondie too..) I LOVE MGA's dolls and I do understand why people love them so much and I can agree (in most cases) that the quality and fashions almost always far surpass the other doll lines but I also think it's silly to "stan" a toy company and wish for the failure of another doll line??
