I share your sentiments in being sad about Cave Club being gone😢I recently had to move abruptly and had no choice but to put all of my dolls in storage and could not bring them with me. I have really been missing these in particular. Fast forward to 4 months later and my niece sent me a surprise package. Low and behold when I opened it, core Roaralai, Blazin' BBQ playset Emberley and core Rockelle were staring back at me. I cried, it was a beautiful moment indeed and thought I'd share☺. I think overall Lumina, Bashley, Tella and Emberley are my faves❤I need to get the sleepover ones. So cute!!😍

I adore Cave Club, and stalked Amazon till I found almost all of them. I love Pebbles and Bam Bam so these were right up my alley. I have the full collection now and wished they would come out with at least a few more. So glad you love them too, their bright colors and adorable little faces won me over from the start.

Cave club dolls aren’t for me as a collector but I love the idea of a fantasy dinosaur-centric doll line. I would have loved that as a child! It’s too bad it’s already going the way of the dinosaur (sorry mom joke). We don’t have enough creatively themed dolls and toys for children.

I was truly sadden when they quit making Cave Club dolls. I loved how bright and colorful they were and that they had a very unique theme for a girl-aimed toy line. I think one of the main factors was that the dinosaur designs and color schemes made me think of my favorite toy line, Darlin' Dinos, that I used have when I was a kid.

Hello Brooke! I follow you here on KZbin! I love your channel! You are such a super fun collector. I’m in my late 50s and have been collecting dolls since 2009. I did also purchsse the cave club dolls. I have several new in package. And several loose ones, I also ordered a lot yesterday on eBay to get lumina. Next there are the dinosaurs and a couple other dolls with the Afros that I want next. I also collect rainbow high dolls and will be going home to a Paris Hilton doll this evening. Thank you for doing videos on these more obscure doll lines. I love collecting obscure dolls too!

It's kinda sad that they ended, the idea wasn't bad and there was potential to do something successful (here in Europe you get them for 4€ at TK-Maxx (yes with a k) at this point. I would like to see some major dollbrand actually try a doll line based on different eras or something. Right now they all kinda feel similar in some way. Edit: I know that the American girl line exists but as the name says its very restricted and not aviable in Europe (not to mention AG is very expensive already). It was interesting to hear childhood stories of not only my grandparents but also my great grandparents like my great grandmother who grew up as a Mongolian who was forced into the soviet union or my grandfather who was from a rich family during the time of the bolshevik uprising (probably wrote it wrong).

I love love LOVE cave club hahaha!! They have been showing up at my local Roses and Ollie's(lol). It's like in my top 5 dolls lines. Lumina is literally one of my favorite dolls I own 💜💜 love when you makes videos about them.

I knew about Cave club when they first came out, but like alot of doll lines for me I see them, like them but I'm at the time collecting something else. I love these dolls and I must admit that you've helped appreciate them even more. Your genuine enthusiasm and excitement is contagious.....lol....but honestly, I would have eventually gotten in to them. They are wonderful dolls! As usual, great review!

I agree these are super cute. I got a few for my daughter and her buddies. They all love them. I wish more had come out. My friend's daughter mentioned the show a few years back. Then you mentioned the dolls and I found a few on amazon and got them. That was great. My daughter plays with them often. Wish I had seen them sooner. I think they came out at a bad time no one was going to stores as much. If they had only come out now or stuck around a bit longer i feel like they may have done better. Just my opinion.

I went to the supermarket and I saw one of these dolls laying in the toy section. I honestly thought it was pretty weird to release a doll line with a prehistoric theme. It was an Emberly doll. I never took her home. I think it's interesting to see you talk about them right now. You changed my opinion on them. They're actually quite awesome!

I think that their Sleepover Line is my favorite line in Cave Club (all the accessories are really cute, their Pj’s are perfect for each character, and their hair styles -especially on Emberly- are really cute). I’m glad you managed to get the Partyceratops set, she was the last one I was missing and had to resort to importing her from Canada. The only ones I am missing are the third wave of Dino Crystals. Like you said, they never showed up in stores that had carried the first and second wave. They really were a cute line that little me would have adored (articulation, bright colors, dinosaurs -Tyrarex is still a highlight to my entire doll collection).

There's a variant of the first Roralai with whiskers instead of the triangles, I got whiskers on mine, I got her off of Amazon Germany

I agree with yu on Cave Club,, was so sad when I heard they weren't going to be making anymore.. really happy yu've finally completed yur collection,, I've still got to find Ruly as she never came out in the UK and cant find her online at all (I've been looking for about a year now) and the two dino sets but they're pretty cheap in the UK so ill pick them up when I see them for cheap hopefully..

cave club was so good, I'm glad you could complete your collection! I'm still salty that despite the fact that cave club was mainly distributed for european countries... we really didn't get lumina and ruly or the dino rockin party ember and bashley or the easter rockelle. or we sorta did, but not as a normal available-in-most-stores-for-a-regular-price release. we did get tella with the big dinosaur, tons of sleepover roaralai, and uhhh... the tots riding the dinosaurs... yeah. I'm still on the lookout for those blind bag dinos secondhand because I just want the articulated dinosaurs, I would scream if I got the pet rock out of those blind bags lol. also, fun idea I got from someone's instagram - did you know that hairdorables heads fit perfectly on cave club bodies? I put my Sallee's head on Tella's body and it's a perfect match skinwise and shapewise. shoes may be a problem tho!

I love cave club and have collected almost all of them. I haven't completed the sleepover line yet and don't have the triceratops (It's been on Amazon for $64 and I don't need it that much! lol) Did you get Rockelle's Dino Nursery? Love the details and all of the accessories with that set. It's so adorable and my favorite!❤

Love this doll line! Got into it a little too late but managed to get all the dolls still need to get some to keep it in the box but seems like my local winners/HomeSense keeps stalking them recently. Need to replace my Ruly doll as she gas a bad knee. I have all the dolls yay but as I said I’d like to get some to keep in the box lol. Probably not this year but I have a bunch of extras I bought off eBay and I’m going to customize them all into a little Christmas elves to put around my living room lol can’t wait to start that craft in the future

I bought them when they were cheap (I think partially because you were so excited about them) and I wanted to make them into Pokemon customs. Haven't done it yet but they look cute as they are anyway. The hair was a letdown though, as you mentioned in the video, it isn't perfect for hair play. I also thought they were going to be smaller than they are, not sure why.

I love Cave club! I have all the adult characters! I literally started collecting them for their cat outfits, in case Catra from the Princesses of Power wanted a different look, but I ended up loving them and collected the whole lot of them. I'm just missing the 4 babies, other than that I have all the characters who are human. Thanks for the video. The boy and the purple haired rocker is on sale at Ollie's for like $5. They had a ton last time I went. Don't lnow if you have a Ollie's in your area.

Cave club main issue with me was just that I wasn’t a fan of cave people. So the gimmick didn’t win me over . But I’ll give them huge credit sense I’m pretty sure the team is also who worked on gen 3 and they are doing amazing

I had no idea they had polypropylene hair. I have original Fernessa, Roaralei and Emberly and I thought maybe Fernessa had it (because her hair honestly feels awful and unmanageable) but had no idea about the others. Roaralei's hair in particular felt really soft and nice

i think cave club stands out to me personally because I've never seen dinosaurs and such be marketed towards girls before, since traditionally dinos are a "boys interest." i can imagine girls becoming interested in dinosaurs because of this line which i think is sweet :)

I only have the default Emberly and Rockelle but the dolls are definitely cute. Emberly is my favorite and I want her Dino Rockin’ Party doll but I find it hard to justify spending $20 for it when I got my default dolls in store for less than half of that. I might cave in and get her eventually though since her pricing never seems to go down. Maybe a few others as well. And as a heads up for anyone else the Tella and Partyceratops doll is on Amazon. It’s around $65 though, same as the Rochelle and Tyrasaurus set. It’s a shame both this and Hairdorables are both fading out. These two lines were the first doll lines I ever started buying.

I thought the base doll for Cave Club were cute, however I didn't really like the theming or the hair quality. I ended up rerooting the two I have. I can see these dolls becoming popular with customizers.

I only have 2, Roralei and Tella - because I wanted their pets the most. They really are adorable. I think Enchantimals is just generally more geared towards a girl audience over prehistoric themed stuff. Although boys definitely buy and collect dolls, I still don't think it's as common, especially for young kids, who is the targeted audience. If not for watching your videos I'd have missed out on these adorable dolls for sure.

Amazon must have been digging up old stock because Ruly also went up for a bit. She was the last character I needed (I have one of each of the core dolls + Tyrasaurus). She hasn’t arrived yet but fingers crossed all goes well! Related: did anyone ever find the rock character in the blind bag eggs? They are at my roses and Ollie’s so I’ve opened quite a few and have all series one except for the rock. The concept just tickles me so I’m sad I can’t find him.

I guess I was lucky with these in that I live in Canada and got all the ones I have on sale. I think Ruly and Lumina might be my favourites, but I never got them because they never went on sale. I also sold my two sleepover dolls when thinning out to make space. I'm glad I have some Cave Club, but the new Monster High dolls are the step-up in quality that I prefer in a doll line I collect. However, they cost 3 times more than what I paid for my Cave Club dolls, so I'm not collecting many of them either.

My local Ollie's had tons of Bashley and Slate dolls for months. I bought a couple right before Black Friday. I went back today and nothing! I'm thinking they moved the inventory to another store or something. There's no way they could have sold all of them, despite the cheap price. I honestly don't mind the hair because it's not hair type for me it is the hair style as long as it looks interesting but it's a simple style that lasts long through play I could care less because my main thing is I hate taking down my dolls hair because I don't know how to style them so they always just end up I'm braids in a desperate attempt to not ruin the hair even more XD also yes omg lumina us so hard to find and ive never even seen the one with glasses

I loved them until I bought one and her hair was awful. I pretty much always want to mess with my dolls' hair and when I can't I lose interest. I bought Fernessa and her hair completely drizzled up when I combed it. I gave her away. But they are super cute dolls.

I only have Tella and Emberly from the first line. Lumina is another doll I would like to own from the line some day as well. Cave Club was very cute for what it was, and I find it annoying how many more extreme Mattel stans have to unfairly compare every single playline doll line Mattel makes to MH. I love Monster High, but not every Mattel doll line has to be Monster High, and they should be allowed to have individual identities rather than just being considered another line that is inferior to Monster High.
