Cave of Jabal Uhud / غار جبل أحد

The Cave of Mount Uhud (غار جبل احد) is a naturally formed Cave, on the side of Mount Uhud, facing Al-Masjid An-Nabawi.
The Prophet (ﷺ) placed #archers nearby on Jabal Al-Rumah (جبل الرماة - also known as Archers Hill) during #Battle_of_Uhud, and gave them strict orders not to leave their posts whatever might happen. When they came to engage, Prophet Muhammad had superiority at first. But afterward, his archers left their position for the sake of plunder, thus allowing the #Quraish enemies to attack the Muslims in the rear, and surround them.
