16:45 I believe 'no lighting' means that you have to carry a torch, preventing you from carrying anything else, like a shield, in your second hand.

So, I assume you forgot that you have the spell for unlocking doors? And about other spells as well, for that matter.

Soooooo helpful thank you so much. I recently got this game and was overly complicating building out the dungeons. I much perfer your "list like style". I have found through my basic readings of the book, while i love playing spellcasters, wizard seems impossible. Low health and defense, only 8 uses of spells in a "small" dungeon maybe but huge? Wild. Definitely like the difficulty but for the first few tries i suggest melee characters haha Again thank you ❤

40:25 Segments are not supposed to have two doors on the same side. You either re-roll the result or ignore it.

They are not on the same side. I draw one door on the west and one on the north.

​@@lone_adventurerYeah, but you already had one door on the west side of the room (the one through which you came). The way the rules are written it looks like one wall can have one door. I thought it includes the one through which you came. But I might be wrong, of course.

Great video. Game really needs the Into the Wild and Encounters. Had a chat with Gustavo on RPGGeek C&C Into the Wild forum regarding rules and ideas (ranged combat and defense, among others), really nice guy, took the time and answered all. :) You may like to check his replies, quite useful. I would definitely like to see a video of the overland hex crawl expansion. Great video! Also what is your take on the wizards -1 attack modifier to an attack of 1? It seemed odd to me to successfully hit and do no damage. I just play it as -1 to chance to hit then if I hit I do 1 damage.

Thanks - glad you enjoyed the playthrough!! Yeah - that does seem a little strange...I know some games have an optional rule that you always do a minimum of one point of damage on a successful hit anyway, and this game definitely isn't hurt by the occasional adjustment to make it a little easier :)

@@lone_adventurer I have learned that most of the solo RPG's seem to leave room for interpretation of the rules in a logical manner so I proceed accordingly. I appreciate all of the playthrough videos, you have been a primary source for most of my solo adventures since I started this journey in the beginning of the year. 👍

Enters first room and falls in trap crawls out and sees a cabinet ooh look a cabinet. lets look for some treasure. 2 Goblins jump out and attack you. phew took them out, lets check them for treasures 4 Spiders crawl out of the corpses and attack. - UHG this place is insane I am outta here. Okay slightly exaggerated.

With how brutal this game appears it makes me wonder if the developer had enough playtesting done to balance it out more. Interesting game, regardless.

Seems pretty brutal, but I do think I was a little unlucky in this playthrough - the combat wasn't too scary though. But I agree it's not the most carefully balanced game.

You mentioned you printed this one yourself. Do you have an awesome printer at home, or use an online or local printing service?

I do not have an awesome printer (though I recently treated myself and do have a decent one). This was printed with a printing company that I use a lot called Doxzoo (link in the description).

The world lore is really similar to chinese mythology , with Hou-Yi who shot down 9 of 10 suns who turned into 3 legged crows.
