That base sculpt of the knight on the snail is already amazing!

Absolute genius work! You really captured the aesthetic. This game is SO much fun to kit bash stuff for.

Your work is fantastic. I can't help but wonder what kind of person this gentleman is. He certainly has a protagonist vibe to me. A border guard, perhaps? Hmmm. I love it when a model catches the imagination like this. Thank you for sharing!

Snail's body could have done with a bit of gloss varnish. Really bring out the slimy wet look. Other than that, though, I love your snail rider. Great conversion.

I could totally see a use for that spare snail head for a Nurgle Dark Mechanicum kit!

Love all of your work. Let's say your amazing work is a 5... well I am about a 2. I use normal Sculpey. Will using Super Sculpey improve my output or is it more about practice and experience?
@wilhelminiatures69053 жыл бұрын
I've never used normal Sculpey. However, the material is definitely a big part of sculpting. It is much harder to sculpt details with regular air drying clay than polymer clay for example, so it will really help to use a clay meant for sculpting miniatures. Although, practice is probably most important to get better.

What size base did you use?
@BrushQuill3 жыл бұрын
Thats an awesome looking figure. What scale is the knight? You said he was smaller than 28mm.
@wilhelminiatures69053 жыл бұрын
I made it as a gnome or child for a 28mm setting :) It is about 15mm.

Why is your greenstuff so light?
@wilhelminiatures69053 жыл бұрын
I use a 50/50 mix of greenstuff and milliput, making it lighter than pure gs. It becomes a little softer and less sticky. I also think the mix dries harder, making it smoother to carve and sand after curing.
@j4533 жыл бұрын
@@wilhelminiatures6905 i wondered if it was half milliput or heavy on the yellow. I've mixed greenstuff like that too, it's a good combo. Thank you 👍
