oh my gosh! I assume you made the hunterZ mods? they are genuinely my favorite. The map pin QOL are without a doubt one of my favorite features. I have to assume stuff like that will eventually find it's way in the game based on some of the recent ui improvements (go to significant perseon being one of them) but even it it does, i've enjoyed Qud more for longer as a result of your mods! I kind of hope you have more ideas, and if you do more stuff, i'll will def check them out!

@@BigSimpleYep, that's me. Glad you like them! It's possible that I'll come up with more ideas next time I revisit the game, which will probably be whenever they do another major content addition.

Figured since I watched late, I'd just say it, UX mod changes are integrated into the base game now.

Thanks. So is the UX mod now completely redundant and no need for me to install? Thanks

@@kieranhartnett3076 Yes, it is part of the game.

Thanks for saying something. I was going back after a while, and thought I would look at the QoL mods.

By now it also has the option to move the interruptive scavanging prompt into a simple line in your event/combat log. Also, autoscrap is a thing you can activate, at least for the scrap parts you find.

I'll give them a try. Also, I like your soft voice

heartpyre is a very decent mod that gives you the ability to claim land, build on it , and invite npc's to live in them.

I just started a new game today, haven't played for a year. This mod you mention that has npc tell you who the quest giver is... Did they just add this to the game after your video? Because the npcs in my random starting village all told me who to talk to. Now I'm wondering if there are more of these mods that have been incorporated into the vanilla version
@MojavePete3 жыл бұрын
The mod adds a visual marker to the screen to indicate the quest-giver's exact location. In the past I've spent 10 minutes searching for the quest-giver, meanwhile they are dodging me, walking from work to bed and back while I search

Try pressing backspace! Not sure when that ‘auto walk to point of interest’ feature was added but it is helpful!
@BoredTruckn16 күн бұрын
As far as I can tell it looks like they added about 80% of the features of these mods to the base game. There's an automation table in the settings that lets you change a lot of this.
@BigSimple15 күн бұрын
yup! This mod pack is fairly old now and a lot of features are in the game which is awesome! I still appreciate these mods for the work the mod makers did to make the game more accessible

@@BigSimple Oh for sure. Especially that last one. Got to respect the effort that took. With the workshop now up and running for this game on steam I hoping a few of these guys with help elevate this game some more. I just ran across this game like a day before the 1.0 release, so I still haven't explored a fraction of what this game has to offer, but an active modding scene is never a bad thing for a game.

Nice mods, I was thinking about getting into modding myself, and a lot of the changes I wanted to make are already implemented by some of the mods in this video
