This album really speaks to me. I’ve been going through a lot of stuff for a while now and it’s so comforting to know that I’m not alone. i spend all day forcing my voice, watching what i say, and how i say it, to make sure i am seen as a cool straight guy who only listens to 90’s rock. but with your music, i get to go home and be myself, cuddle with my dog, listen to bedroom pop and not be judged because im by myself. im usually so alone, but in your music, im not alone. outside, im worm food; a socially awkward teenager whos trying so hard to hide his feminity and depression just so he has a shot at making friends. but you gave him faith? or at least some possibility that he may not have to hide, and he just needs to wait a few more years until he finds “his people” thank u so so much

this entire album hit me where it hurts in a good way. survived a school sho*t*ng nearly 3 years ago and your music really helped me get through it (i’ve listened to you for 6-7 years but heavily listened moreso after the tragedy). this album hits so close to home.. the lyrics- the emotion conveyed through the key/tone. Just wow. i’ve never felt so seen by music…so many lyrics relate to how i’ve felt lately because of my ptsd and it’s affects on so many things in my life and my connections to both others, myself, and my cat. wow. my heart is very full listening to this. thank you for helping me on my healing journey..love you robbie.

I was so surprised how this song really represent my situation exactly right now it freaks me out. It's been a very difficult months for me. Been fighting with one thing or two and I'm losing. I feel so powerless and really close to giving up on life. It's still happening as I type this. This song perfectly describes the feeling I've been having for the past several months. For so long, I've always had this disconnect with my friends, as an aroace, I don't experience romantic attraction the same way my peers are. It makes me feel alone that I still haven't met anyone IRL that has the same feelings as mine, and with my friends going to different schools, it makes me feel even more lonely. Learning that one of my favorite artists also has the same feeling of being out of place as I am is comforting. Сам текст песни, на самом деле, для меня - это совершенно несвязанные друг с другом и даже бессмысленные фразы. Но знаете в чем преимущество этого текста? В том, что каждая строка вызывает какие-то мурашки и флешбеки. Каждая. Чёртова. Строка. Ты сидишь, и тут в голове возникает момент из твоей жизни. Это очень бьёт. Под конец анимация стала более дёрганной, добавилось множество эффектов, что начало напоминать о современном искусстве, даже о пиксельных видеоиграх. Они значат для меня очень многое. Вся эта смесь фраз, советской атмосферы с пиксельными квестами, а ещё тревожной музыкой... А затем всё стихает. И я чувствую, что я слышал уже это. Когда-то давно. Года два назад. Я слышал это. i still cant believe i saw robbie in real life, just yesterday. him and the others were absolutely amazing and it was my first ever concert and i was so happy!! i shouted so loud during every song and im so greatful to have been there in the crowd, and i even managed to get some merch so i'll probably be holding onto that forever even if i grow out of it! thank you robbie for being such a cool and great person!
