Lambskin is much more durable than people give it credit for. I use mine all the time, and small scratches come out very easily with buffing by finger or microfibre. I have had mine for 3 years and it still looks great. However. ,unpopular opinion but I love the look of the grained caviar, and actually prefer that look to the smooth caviar,

Definitely agree, I have lambskin pieces and especially vintage ones and omg the quality is amazing! I highly recommend anyone to get a vintage lambskin pièce if they can it's truly luxurious and like Tia said it absorbs the colour so so well 😍

Very unpopular opinion with you liking the look of the grained caviar 😄 I love it too, especially in the smaller bags 😍☺️. The problem with lambskin is that Chanel is inconsistent with the quality of skin they use, so yours might be super durable, but mine is so easily scratched which means I have to be more careful when using mine. Its literally luck of the draw, some years we have great lambskin that is more durable, and others not so much ❤️ xx

Team Lambskin! The sheen, the texture, the feel, is beyond luxurious with superior aesthetics on the Black Lambskin than the basketball pebble leather.

I discovered depending on the year and season some lambskin is very resilient! I wish Chanel would just make the durable lamb and not the type that wears at the back and corners after 5 times.

Definitely agree, depending on season, the lambskin varies for sure!! I've also heard complaints about the Boy bag but in my case I wear mine so often, in caviar, and I've had it for over 5 years and it looks as new. I guess it depends who makes them (contrarily to popular belief Chanel is mainly handmade with machines that stitch things up)

Its very frustrating because of how inconsistent it is. And its difficult to tell if you're getting a good batch of lambskin that is resilient or if you're getting a delicate batch. Maybe that's why you have some people saying 'lambskin is so durable' and the others like myself and you saying its not. 🤦🏽‍♀️ x

I missed this video before so I am late here Tiana😉. I agree and disagree I think both leathers look luxurious specially if you get CF in the medium or the small size and in either LGHW, or GHW. I think bags that are in SHW or even AGHW, tend to be more casual looking like, but that’s my personal opinion of course 😉. I wanted to mentioned that the latest collection we had from Chanel the caviar bags absorbed the color better than some in the lambskin ( a lot of people were surprised about that) so I guess only Chanel knows and it’s always surprising us. By the way, you meant aged calfskin leather ☺️ All the best selling your bag, she is stunning!

Chanel is like a bag of pick and mix, you never know what you're getting until you buy it and use it 😂 - Yes i did mean aged calfskin!!..It was literally on the tip of my tongue but my brain just refused to process it - remember, chanel amateur over here 😅...Everyone else is a pro, i just go based on my experience with the things i've bought 🤣💕 xx

Oh no!!..I thought goat skin would be durable?!!..Way more than lambskin especially!! 😳 I'm so surprised!! When I felt the Chanel 19 it felt much more durable 🤦🏽‍♀️ This is exactly what I mean by inconsistency 😩 xx

Mine is Goatskin too but scratches can be buffed out by fingers easily.. My Lambskin Trendy cc wasn't the case tho xoxo
