4:19 - "they out played, 1-15, they outcoached us, sometime you have to call it like you see it". That honesty is impressive, I respect that a lot... He has to convince his players to trust in the team, even when times are challenging. TRUST YOUR TEAMMATES, TRUST THE SYSTEM...

support this take 100. I think some adversity is good for our guys, especially now and especially b/c it's a team in our conference. I think Chicago gives us similar fits. Looking forward to seeing how our team of professionals adjusts their game to play better against our EC foes. TRUST THE SYSTEM - 100% agree!!

They’ll bounce back. Hopefully they can get one against Boston. I also love that Kenny acknowledges when another team plays better and his team didn’t unlike JB.

The Hawks have 4 athletic wing players that is at least 6’8 in this game. That length disrupted the Cavs ball movement leading to poor shots. In defense, when one of Allen or Mobley take a rest, the lone big is being pulled away from the paint to guard the perimeter leading to easy paint points.
@FloydPhillipsIIАй бұрын
Where's the pace? Where's the ball movement? Where's the utilization of your bigs offensively? ATKINSON'S SYSTEM WORKS. Some players, (Garland & Mitchell) don't run it... RUN THE SYSTEM...

Not sure that Donovan ever wants to push the ball. Cavs lack of BIG wings on the perimeter are Koby's fault!!!! He does not value size and length on the perimeter. Koby loves those 6'5 players!!! Our whole team is a bunch of 2 guards!!!
@FloydPhillipsIIАй бұрын
Coach has his work cut out for him. Mitchell (in particular) is not committed to running Atkinson's system. He plays slow, rarely ever cuts, runs constant pick and rolls. He isn't bought in. Until he does, more losses are coming...

I’ve been saying it..

Hopefully the Cavs can get their act together quickly. IMO Cavs and coaches played like they would win these games based on the past games. Coaches must adapt defense and offense strategies and tactics to counter the way the league has responded. The players must start sharing the ball early in the shot clock. Get back to moving the bodies. Reserve hero ball for only when required.

Shots aren't always going to fall. And when that happens, the D needs to pick it up. Mike Fratello could win games ugly. And a win is a win. The saying is true that "defensive effort doesn't have an off night". If they can't play better D, that will doom them come play off time. Allen was absent. Cavs need a big man off the bench. Don't see that person right now.

I just wish we'd stop shooting so many damn 3s when we aint hitting the mfrs. Die by the 3. And if we had better free throw shooting the first game we'd have took it. For the Hawks to beat us both games in a btb i can see theyre talented but dang this is so frustrating considering the hot start we got off to. Lets Go Cavs¡¡¡ back to the win column¡¡
@TheMovieEditorАй бұрын
Same old cavs. Got some time off and come back rusty and pathetic. Every year after all star break, they do the same thing. They obviously dont shoot, stay in the gym, they just go off and have a good time.

Niang can't be on this team. He's targeted defensively non stop. Meanwhile offensively, he can't make open shots consistently. It's time to trade him for a backup big that can defend bigs, switch out on smalls, and make open shots... Larry Nance Jr. isn't even in Hawks rotation, get him...

I thought there was too much dribbling and not enough ball movement--missed a bunch of easy shots-Allen took only 3 shots?-and they also took too many hard shots-and as as usual, even during the winning streak, lost the rebound battle far too often-stats show that we had more offensive rebounds but did not turn them into points while they did

The Hawks are just better, I think the Cavs will end up behind Boston, knicks, Atlanta,Orlando, and possibly Indiana. Cavs are better just not good enough. Cavs are not long enough once you get past Mobley and Allen. Atlanta team is all 6’8” and can shoot 3

George’s niang is terrible. He is a defensive liability. He can’t even make open shots. Please trade him for the love of God he can’t do shit. All he does is come to the game and foul I’ll give them credit for grabbing rebounds, but it’s offenses terrible and his defense is horrible
