Hi! There's a couple of notes I want to add since this was filmed, please read through as it might be useful! 💜 To reiterate, the way to get your own spreadsheet please open the link in the description box, be logged into your Google account, right click on a spreadsheet you want to use and select "make a copy" option. It will then appear in your Drive for you to use! ✨ I'd love to thank my Patreons for beta-testing this! We've found a few things that needed either fixing or updating - thank you! 🥰 Few things to note: - You might notice that star rating chart does not say "x stars" on the legend anymore - that is because it was actually assigning these labels at random when starting a new spreadsheet! This has been removed and a line added below to explain how to read it ☺ - Short stories, novellas, and manga have been added to format dropdown since filming - If you hide a column you do not want to track and do not wish to delete the table in the data tab (although if you're not tracking the category I do suggest deleting the table) you need to enable hidden data as a data source. This can be done just as you click hide, there will be a pop up on the bottom left saying "Data in hidden columns is excluded from the chart." with a green label next to it saying Include data. Press include data - otherwise the table will pick a nearby column to take data from instead and it'll show nonsense 😂 But again, this is just if you want to keep the empty table, I would just delete it if you're not keen on tracking something ☺ Note: please enter the hours listened as a decimal unit if you don't want to round up to a closes hour. So in a 10.5 for 10 hours and a half. You can convert hours to decimals here www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/time/time-to-decimal-calculator.php I will update this comment if anything else pops up. Thank you for being here. For next year, a column for the Narrator (for audiobooks) might be cool! Maybe even a simple star rating for the narration performance, so you can see which narrators you like/dislike over time. Like Bahni Turpin is my queeeeeen and other narrators I can't stand.

Last year was my first year using it and I just did the basic one because the other one seemed a bit overwhelming (for my first go). I really enjoyed watching the charts and graphs change through out the year. Now that I have had some practice, I am ready for the Plus version especially with the changes and additions you made and how easy it is to customize. I’m one of those people that moved over to StoryGraph last year and even though the decimal rating make it so much easier to settle on a star rating on my own, I really missed the structure my reviews had in 2020 (when I got started on your system) because of how critically CAWPILE makes me look at the components that I like/love/dislike and everything in between within in a story. I've never rated any of the nonfiction I've read because I wasn't sure how to so I'm very excited to use this new guide. I made a lot of changes to little thing in the 2021 CAWPILE spreadsheet last year. This year when I made a new copy I made a lot of changes (including entirely erasing anything related to ratings, and replaced it with a simple "How did I feel:" "I loved it," "I liked it," "I disliked it," "I hated it." I found that I was starting to have an existential crisis around ratings, and this year I decided to try forgoing them entirely and just be better at doing a small review for each book to record my thoughts). Now I just spent so long adding in things that you included in the new version because I already spent the time customizing my current 2022. Some of my favorite new categories that you added this year are the first in a series and the disability rep trackers.

I'm so excited to use this. I switched this year to a different spreadsheet, which I thought was yours since it used the CAWPILE rating system,, but it was more for totally romance readers and had a bunch more columns like tropes, t6hemes, and characters and a lot more spreadsheet pages. It was so labor-intensive; luckily, I really didn't input that much, since I found yours and think it will be the perfect mix between my old spreadsheet of previous yearsqand this other spreadsheet that was based off yours with a whole bunch of things that I did not care about.
