CAYDEN LINDSTROM Scouting Report | Prospect Spotlight

In this episode of a brand new series, our scouts take a half-hour deep dive into the game of the top powerforward centre available in the 2024 NHL Draft: Cayden Lindstrom! First, they introduce the player with his profile, statistical production, and his trifecta of puck skills: shooting, passing, and handling. Next, they shift their attention to his habits, tools, and toolkit, where Lindstrom truly comes into his own. Last, they debate Lindstrom's projection at the NHL level from both stylistic and statistical perspectives, before capping off the episode by looking at which NHL teams would be the best fit for him.

I've been on the Cayden Lindstrom train fir quite a while but I recently heard an interview which brought me a pin prick of doubt in my mind. I wonder is Cayden Lindstrom a " hockey player" or is he just " good at hockey"?. I love his size combined with talent and speed but if I think of a "hockey player" Berkeley Catton comes to mind. Are we blinded😊 my the Habs need for size?

@@BedardsBurnerwe have 1 RHD prospect that’s worth talking about. I would rather get Lev over Lind but I have both of these guys at 2 and 3 in the draft both are very skilled and could add something the hawks don’t have in there system

The Hawks will select best available, whatever position that may be. That said I hope it’s Lindstrom, if the Hawks don’t get first overall pick.

I like Lindstrom. Hawks will end up top 4 for sure. Depending on the lottery. Artem reminds me of Seth Jones. No thanks. Plus it takes D men awhile. Celebrini is the guy of course.
