I would make at least 2 of those, because you can put more alcohol in the hot can. You use one can for fire, and fill the other one when it is cool.

i mixed 70 percent alcohol with 99 percent alcohol and the can exploded with a very loud bang ! what caused this?

Good question. He said the wool will not burn so I guess you will have to keep refilling it with ethanol

I don’t know about this specific one, but when I used a popcan burner, about 1 tablespoon of denatured alcohol would burn for about 8 minutes, I had a small container… maybe 1/3 liter? of alcohol, used it to cook my hiking meals for a month and a half without needing to refill

i like the concept, the trouble is not the heater, it is the clumsy people pouring the fuel in... also any kind of open flame like that needs a shield, specifically with alcohol heaters since the flame can be hard to see in certain circumstances. I have a family of girls with long hair, they would accidently catch their hair, i am sure🤣

Yes of corse. I also have a girl with long hair, so I know what you mean 😂. I make that video because many people want to know if it's safe when the burner fall to flor by accident or similar. For the ethanol heaters is common that they have some glass shield (the flame is between two glass plates). But this ethanol burner cen be used for camping, etc.

A 1 liter of bio ethanol will burn for about 3 to 4 hours
