If you have oil leaks ; 1) use only ISO 32 oil grade. The more viscous oil is, the more important leaks are. To chose a viscous oil is a very bad thing and never a solution for HBX leaks ! 2) adjust the oil pressure screw under the pump) 18-19 bars (260-275 PSI) 3) if the leaks do not desapear, you can ajust the "tap screw" behind the pump. This tap regulate the oil flow going to the spindle. The more oil go to spindle the less the leaks occure on variator. Because there is only one pump fot the two oil circuit.

Thanks. I sold the machine a few weeks ago. Probably leaking because it has been sitting unused for many years.

Often polyurethan seal become harder with oil contact.

Very good detail on the threading chart , so many machinist do not this names of thread, SELLERS and BRIGGS , in the country ARGENTINA so many machinist nose this name from technical school ,and the country was power of industry before ,coping all the experience from EUROPE & USA . I am very proud to see this machine on the NORTON BOX ( GEAR BOX) this names of threading most of this EUROPEAN LATHE do not have American pitch same are missing ,because most camming the IMPERIAL BRITHISH SYSTEM. Like 11 1/2 -13 thread per inch. French machine are on top notch quality . Greeting from CANADA.❤🧉⚽🔎🛠
