100%. I watched the Luke Cage series in the months after my husband’s suicide. Seeing that massacre and hearing that song allowed me to feel. It was the perfect dichotomy of pain versus comfort. The sounds of the night club massacre should stay.

What I've concluded after spending hours searching for an official audio of this song is that it will be released (very likely) on his forthcoming album whenever that day is; personally I think it will be mixed again and sound slightly different from this soundtrack with gunshots. Unfortunately information on Saadiq's next album has not been released yet.
