Thinking about this bike and CB500X... what got my atention on the CB300R is the (FUCKING) awesome price tag!!.. Now I cant decide.. But maybe, since I plan to undertake long trips frequently, Ill end up with CB500X. CB300R doesnt looke that comfy.. but man.. that price.. its just unbeliveably cheap :)

I have not ridden the 2019 dominar... RR310 is good, go for it if you want a fully faired bike... Otherwise CB 300 is the best.

@@Raghavendraprasadbm occasional tours and daily commute means go with CB300.. it's light weight so it's easy in traffic, it's reliable so you'll not have to worry about brake down, repairs etc, it's comfortable for occasional touring aswell.. it has a small tank 10L but gives around 280kms per tank so don't need to worry..

It's a single cylinder so it obviously has vibrations all around the rev range.. gets little annoying post 7k rpm.. that's about 120 in top gear..

One thing that bugs me is how people say it's fuel efficient. According to all data at Fuelly this bike uses the exact same amount of fuel as the Mt03 or the Z400 which are both significantly more powerful, accelerate better and reach higher speeds while still being heavier = more stable at higher speeds and in crosswinds. Oh, and they both offer better range too. The CB300R is a good bike without a doubt but not exactly better than the two I mentioned. The Duke is a different story due to reliability issues.

Both of those have twin cylinders. Mileage of my Cb300r is 35kmpl. Mt03 might top at 25 kmpl. Z400 20kmpl.. Higher the speed in India, closer to death. Cb300r for India seems a premium deal at a reasonable price

OK, looks like I was looking at wrong data. Still, it's more like 30 km/L for the CB300R and 25 km/L for the Mt-03 and Z400, at least according to reports on Fuelly. And Honda is the smallest, lightest bike with a single cylinder engine and the smallest tank. Nothing to brag about really.

@@Moonlight-hq3gi They do. It´s called 300cc, ¨beginner¨, ¨budget friendly¨ bikes. Now more of a 300-400cc category thanks to Kawasaki. I don´t think the number of cylinders defines a bike - it´s just a choice made by the manufacturer. They´re all in the same cc category, all weigh more or less the same and can be bought for a similar price.
