Well of course and outside antenna would be better but when you can’t do that your solution was simple but elegant. How does that work for you. Thank you for posting this video

Radionut R Hey, thanks! It works pretty good actually! It's actually better than the outdoor Saturn B100 I was using. I can talk to local guys that are about 10 miles out -- clear across town -- with no problem. I'm up on a hill, so that helps too. I've been able to talk skip a couple times as well.

I'll have to give it a shot one of these days when the conditions are right! I was able to talk to someone in Canada on single side band once. Haven't been able to shoot skip for awhile now. Sun spots aren't cooperating I guess :)
