Born and raised up in those hills and the CB was my local, so many great memories and so many wonderful people. I miss it so much it hurts but at least I know when my days are spent my resting place is in the chapel grounds so I will return one day!

You certainly know some fabulous places to visit! Did wonder how far you were walking around Reeth and then you told us, great🙂. Thought Rachel was very brave going over those stepping stones. Thanks. Regards Ruth

Reeth and Arkengarthdale are so beautiful! If the shortcut path is open it is only half the distance so I think I earned that drink & the pub! Roxy was so dainty gliding through the water with me nervously edging over the stones determined not to give David his £250 You’ve been framed shot of me falling in 🤣 Thank you for your kind comments 💕 Rachel, David & Roxy 🐾

A great video with some lovely drone footage. I’ve been to Reeth but many years ago so maybe it’s time to pay it another visit. The pub stopover looked amazing. Thanks for sharing another informative and interesting video.

Reeth looks to be a really nice place. Reasonable parking too. Gardens were pretty . Some lovely buildings. Great place for a school. Rachel did well with those stones! Graham would have to carry our dogs 🤣 nice drone footage. (Did well going under the bridge) Quite a long walk. The bridge was quite ornate. Reminded us of the Severn bridge in miniature. Cute sheep❤️ great views on the way to your pub stop over. Great stop over too. Very nice👍😊🧙♂️

Thank you. Reeth looks even better on a clear sunny day. The current was quite strong between the stones, when Roxy was a puppy we took her there and she jumped across the stones for the first few then fell in - she didn’t attempt to cross the stones this time 😀 So long as the stones are dry it’s not too bad to cross but if they are wet I worry about slipping. I’m sure Maya and Luna would appreciate the carry rather than trying to get across as for little dogs there are big gaps as Roxy found as a puppy 🐶 I remember the original swing bridge before it got washed away (that one you always worried if you were going to get across as it moved quite a bit when walking across). Thought I would give it a go flying under - that was me being a bit daring with it 😀

@@LeisureBit I think I would be brave enough but Ken from Life’s to short worried me. He says watch out for discarded fishing lines if it’s a bridge that might be fished from. Sometime lines are left. Not sure how realistic that worry should be but can’t get it out of my head. Must conquer that fear 😧. What drone do you have David ? 🙏🧙♂️

Good tip - especially piers and things I imagine - I treated myself to the Mini 3 Pro as I was so impressed with your drone footage, I always said I wouldn’t have another flying machine due to past issues with them (well me really) but it’s amazing how the technology has come along.

@@Wizardinthewild I was very brave … the gaps were huge in between those stones! Years ago I would of trotted across no bother but I was quite cautious in doing it this time. I don’t think the camera pointing waiting for the ‘you’ve been framed’ moment helped 🤣

We were in Hudswell a few weeks ago on a short break and went for a trip to Reeth. Loved it, my kind of location, was brilliant just walking around the old stone buildings, what an amzing place to live :-) The CB Inn looked fab will have to look into staying there one night. Tyler say WOOF WOOF to Roxy :-)

Some lovely scenes again there, just thinking to myself self as I see the water that Roxy will be in there and in she goes - ďogs and water hey 😂. Great value parking too. Breakfast looked nice as well. Do you have a tow car BTW AS I'm sure I have seen one I another vlog ? Kind regards

Hi Tim, it was really nice and we enjoyed it - shame Reeth was a bit overcast as that area looks delightful in the sun. Rachel had to pop for a hospital appointment so took her car along as well as not too far to go (not on tow 😀) thank you and all the best, David & Rachel (and water dog Roxy 🐾)

@@timw2973 it’s a good idea though … my little car would look cute being towed 🚘 it’s like little & large! It was just a check up but I didn’t want to delay the off… it’s only an hour and it was a beautiful drive through lovely scenery so I just pottered my way up the dale!

Thank you - I think some of it is luck, when we had the previous Motorhome a number of years back we hit on some not so good ones so I (David) try my best to root out any of the less desirable ones which has helped, I’m sure at some point we will get caught out though but so far we’ve been lucky 👍 all the best, David & Rachel 👍
