You are welcome!

Nick I hope Google Translate is my friend with the translation...😊 Thank you for your comment and yes I am sure I will be back in this area in the future. Thanks for the invitation and look out for a red (but dirty) bike Nick

I was near Oppenau this summer. On the way back towards Stutrgart went through the mountains. Seems to almost be motorbike nirvana around that region, never saw so many motorbikes in one location. Roads are very nice and as you showed, very beautiful villages in the area. Well worth a visit.

Another enjoyable video Nick. As a young child, my father was stationed at Bad Tolz, so the scenery of the region bought by some pleasant memories.

Germany was a big surprise first time I went on the bike. The buildings, the roads, and the countryside... all so orderly and well kept, just how I like it! As you say, the villages are beautiful. Maybe you saw what is claimed to be the world’s biggest cuckoo clock whilst in the Black Forest!

Hi Steve, I missed the clock but enjoyed what I did see of the area Nick

Beautiful scenery in the previous episode, and the Black Forest is beautiful.

Hi Nick, I'm just back from visiting my son in Leeds for the weekend and have watched this at the first opportunity. Such a contrast between Lees annd where this is, breathtakingly fabulous towns and scenery. Thanks so much for sharing your memories for which you must be very proud and which must be very precious to you. Regards Ray

Fair play Nick, 33 episodes that I watched beginning to end. Not many solo travellers such as ourselves or indeed KZbin vloggers. As I sit here in Salamanca at a campsite I'm watching the latest episode!14€ per night and €3 for a nice pint 🍻

Hi @Nordkapp, thanks for sticking with me! Bargain campsite you have found and 3 euros for a pint, how bad is that?! Nick

Have you set off for the second part of the trip yet? I prefer Northern Europe, looking forward to your travels there. :)

Hi enjoying your video, I’m buying a bike next year for touring I’m 63 so interested for pleasure rather than speed so can I ask how you find the 500 as it’s one of the bikes I’m considering Thankyou?

Hi Donna, good luck with your decision. I downsized from a CBF1000 for this trip and am pleased with the decision. I'm not sure if you've seen my review of the bike 5000 miles into my trip? kzbin.info/www/bejne/opibaJmsm8t1nbM It is hard to recommend something which involves a chunk of investment, but since this trip I've completed another 2000 mile trip in mainland UK on the same bike, and will still use it for my Norther trip next year. Hope this helps?!? Nick

Have you put on new tires now that you are back home?
@bikingtravels2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes I've put the standard tyres back on as they'd only done 1000 Km / 600 miles. The wear on the rear AX41 tyre is down to 3mm, so still legal, but not for long really. Nick
