Great video, love the upgrades that you have done. I too went with Rally Raid level 1 suspension, back and front. I also have bought some of their other products and put them on the bike. I bought my bike second-hand and already had a skid plate on it so I didn't go with a Rally Raid one. It has the SW Motech skid plate and crash bars. They work well so far. I also went with the sw-motech larger footpegs, because they're a lot like the ones from the factory. They're bigger and they also have a rubber cushion on them, that can come off, so when you're riding off-road you can take them off. And with the cushion back on, it helps with the vibrations. Mine is a 2015. I love the bike. Anyway thank you for sharing the video, it's well done. I live in British Columbia Canada, where there are lots of dirt roads in the backcountry that I love to ride.

All the upgrades you did convert CB500X to real off road machine. I am sure you have a great time with her. Level 1 for 2015 keeps 17 inch wheels, right?

@@MotoPavilion Yes, but the rims on the older models are a lot stronger than the newer model are. They don't bend and break as easily. So I haven't had any problems. It's a great bike to ride off-road

I have a 2013 and my wife has the 2014 CB500X. We both decided to do the Level 1 kits from Rally Raid. We love it and have used on several trips now including MABDR and now have done 5 sections of the Eastern TAT. Looks like you may be in PA based on the trails and background videos. I am in NY. I did MABDR and 3/4 of NEBDR. I have some plans to go to Alaska this summer but still considering. It will be nice to ride together if we have a chance.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these tyres. Have you noticed that the Mitas E07+ comes in Radial and bias play versions for the front? The rear is only bias play. Do you know which one you went for? Anything you would recommended? Thanks

As Honda Turkey doesnt bring any 500 cc bikes here. I havent seen any CB500X yet. We have NC700 series but none of the cc range between 250-600 cc. May I ask is your front rim 17 or 19? And the Nc700 and NC750X have a 2,5 litres of fuel consumption in 100 kms. What about the CB500x?

Front wheel is 19 inches. It goes 55-62 Miles per Gallon.
