To solve your problem of only being able to set it down once: add strips of 1/8" soft rubber to the frame; it will raise the screen slightly off your work (the screen has enough flex) and the rubber will aid it not to move.

Please note that using this screen filler method as shown, you will not get as clean of a print as if you were to use the corresponding speedball drawing fluid to paint the positive area, then coat over the entire screen with screen filler in a single stroke. I have done this method shown and the amount of micro pinholes is absurd.

How long do you have to let the ink dry before applying a new screen?
@alicewyan
@alicewyan 5 жыл бұрын
The ink is acrylic based, so it usually takes a very short time to dry, just a few minutes. You can see it's dry because the surface texture changes (it becomes more matte and loses the wet shine).
@Earendilgrey
@Earendilgrey 4 жыл бұрын
It depends on how thick it ends up going on and the material you are applying it to, but usually only a few minutes. I had a thick shirt take about 10 minutes a few times but most only take maybe 5.
