Charlie Pearcey was a fisherman, tradition bearer, folk archivist who kept history alive in his twine store in St. John’s Outer Battery. Pearcey passed away on April 18, 2020. In his honour, we're sharing this episode of Land & Sea from 2018, featuring Pearcey spinning yarns in his iconic twine store.
