Oh, Cementhead tried to, numerous times. As did McClelland, McSorley, Brown, Jackson, Lumley, Hunter, Smith, and Beukeboom (and on occasion Messier, Krushelnyski, and Gregg). Timmy feared NO ONE.

Agreed 100%. Big Joel was never intimidated by him. Messier would always chirp at Otto non-stop and would then hide behind the refs. Next to McSorley, Anderson and Lumley, Messier is one of my most despised Oilers of all time.
