If there's only one thing that I can say I achieved in my life is getting my 18 year old daughter into 70's 80's rock metal music. this is fantastic. I remember the day my much younger brother finally played the drums well enough for me to know what song he was actually playing to, and how impressive that was. We don't realize how much we absorb even the smallest bits of our favorite songs...a guitar lick, a bass line, or a drum beat can tell us all we need to know about THAT song!

I must confess, at first I had mistakenly-- and cynically--- thought there was a gimmick (probably because of that phony 5 year-old child painter from a few years ago). Then I saw Yoyoka do tutorials in Japanese, and soon realized she has a legit understanding of every area on a kit, each unique sound the sections make, and the "tap dance" style to create marvelous, rapid-fire magic on the bass drum. Yoyoka is a genuine, modern Mozart. Moreover, it's refreshing she doesn't appear to be pressured by her parents. I hope she continues to blossom as an artist, and avoids any severe negative experiences as she grows.
