It is funny to hear her describe her voice - because her voice is so distinctive, especially how she speaks and expresses herself. She is so articulate and so...herself, as we as the public know her.

I love Cate referencing that South Park episode, The Criterion Channel and Naomi Klein’s Doppelgänger ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. So much wisdom in 20 mins. Tom gives the best interviews. 👏

Aside from her eloquent speech and content - Did you notice - not a single “umm?” Instead she takes a breath and then dives right in. I think this could be used for interview training!!😊 How to sound confident and polished. 101

I can really relate to not knowing your real accent. I grew up in rural Tennessee around really strong southern accents. My whole family has southern accents but I've spent my entire adult life in NYC and LA and I lost it. I just soak up the way the people around me talk. People say "speak in a Southern accent" and when I do it just feels like putting on any accent not my "real' accent.
