Miles wasn't exploring rock, he was going to what his people-Chuck Berry, Lil Richard, Jimi Hendrix-created. And, the Beatles wanted to meet the Supremes. So, Bobby needs to retrace his musical history. "Black music is universal"-Spike Lee. Every one mimics it, steasl it, or appropriates it.
