I'm still fairly new to coaching on Rocket League - Although I coach golf a fair amount. I'd say that the best way to get better is to "experiment" and to just do them. A lot of people can learn from various strategies so pick one you know has a high success rate and your delivery and explanations will refine as you get better

One of the BEST real-game scenario analysis videos. A more thorough helpful tutorial than 'pro' videos that fail to relay translatable skill sets.. AWARENESS, POSITIONING &ROTATION, combined with knowing WHEN to apply pressure are the main skills people should be focussing on. Forget highlight reel mechanics like flip resets, air dribbles or ceiling shots. If only more pickup teammates understood this instead of spamming What a save! Most goals occur from a critical error in the PRIOR play. Subscribed.

hmmm yeah I have done a lot of 3s. I suppose I lean that way because it's the "heart" of rocket league with it being the RLCS format, but 2s is something I actually play more often. I will be doing a video about 2v2 soon

Hope you don't mind but if I could make one suggestion, I'd recommend breaking up your analysis a little by showing the mistakes on their own prior to discussing them. I know this would increase video length and that might be why you hadn't done it this time but IMO, the video just felt like it moved a bit too quickly if that makes sense. With that being said, it's still a great video with lots of great info.

About kickoffs, I wanted to learn fast kickoffs in plat 1, but a lot tutorials didn't help me, so for a while, I gave up, but then I saw a scrub 1v1 vid, copied his kickoff, and scored many goals bc my opponents couldn't even touch the ball.

At Bronze, Silver and Gold, the best thing you can do is just play the game and get a feel for basic mechanics. Focus on learning basic ball and car control, and try and get up for aerials when you can. Also, change your camera settings.

So im gonna be that guy and say im c1, and all of this was obvious. Everybody makes small mistakes of course, you just pick up on which mistakes you need to re-think beforehand. Never trust your teammates (solo queuing) unless it absolutely looks like there gonna hit it, which involves paying attention to everything, which comes with experience. If you expect the unexpected, you will realize how many more shots you get better positioned for. You will miss easy goals because you wasnt expecting it or whatever, but still you will be better positioned for offense to let your teammates get boost and push back, if not another setup. People also need to push and be more strategically aggressive in higher ranks. If i lose i get mvp and get called a chaser, but yet i get plenty of setups and no teammate to back me up. They just play defense, but yet when i play defense, they dont go passed half field and they just play defensive. How is someone suppose to play with somebody like that with no communications?

I noticed quite a few mistakes with your analysis, you seem to be teaching him how to play around champs, not how to play around gcs. since he needs to learn to play around gcs to actually beat them, I believe it’s not the most efficient way of teaching that will result in ranking up. I’m not saying it’s all wrong or anything, just some things seem a bit off. Still, high effort high quality video and you make great content :)
