For those who needs translation... He talks about how he was taken by Hamas after killing his employer. Just sent last message to his wife to take care of their children. Took them to a tunnel, first week they put him on a prison like room, he is sleeping beside the toilet. He was made to clean the whole tunnel and 7 toilets and because of lack of food,he is eating wet tissue. The tissue was given everytime he wants to go poop, instead of using that tissue to wipe, he kept it then plaster on the walls of the tunnel since it got moisture it becomes wet then that is his food same time water because he can't drink the salty water given to them by Hamas. He has history in kidney problems that's why he's avoiding salt. He eats those tissues every when he is very hungry and thirsty while thinking "this is for my kids" and praying to God to give him strength to survive the ordeal so he can back home to his family even how long would it takes. At first he's not expecting if he would come back alive because they were pointing guns at him and firing it in his face that it feels like he was in an airplane it makes him like deaf. Prayer was his outlet and most of all he is praising God and thanking Him.He said, when they come out of the tunnel and he got to breathe the outside air, he kneeled down and cried thanking God for answering his prayers.

He said he thought he would be killed by Hamas becoZ he looks like a soldier. Their firearms were already pointed on this head. The hostages lived in the tunnels, moving from one tunnel to another. He was assigned to clean toilets. Everytime he wud ask permission to use the toilet, he was given a small roll of toilet tissue. He wud not use it but instead press the tissue paper on the walls so it wud absorb paper & eat the tissue paper. Accdg to him that was his food & water. He seldom ate the little food given to them but gave it to others. On their first day, they were all given a hygiene kit(toothbrush toothpaste & bath soap). Later they were given their own mattress. He was sleeping next to an open toilet. But he did not mind but kept on praying for his family. They wud walk for several hours.. Everything became routine after several days living in the tunnels. On the day that they were told to throw away their mattress & told to go out, he was very happy to see the sun & be able to breathe fresh air. He is very thankful to God, the Father Almighty.

Clearly you can hear the trauma in his voice. Here's a bit of a summary of what he said: They are brought in a tunnel. The hamas soldiers point the gun in his head asking if he is a soldier. The hamas even changed the gun into "auto". Whenever he wants to poop, they would give them a small toilet paper. Instead of using the toilet paper, he would tear and stick it to the wall to absorb water and it becomes his food and water. He was saying, it would almost drive him insane thinking why was he kidnapped where he didnt do anything wrong. He was sleeping beside the open toilet and the odor surrounds them in the tunnel but he wouldnt mind anymore. He was able to eat the toilet paper because he badly wanted to survive for his kids even if it would take him 10 years. When they're about to be released they cleaned up their space. The first time he cried out was when he saw the sunlight. He was grateful to God.

Hamas made him clean the whole area in the tunnel and the first 2 weeks, he was put in most likely a prison room in the tunnel. He didn't even expect to come back alive because they've been pointing guns on his head and some blow them on the side not to kill him but make him like deaf. They even asked him if he was a soldier. One thing for sure is his prayer towards God had been answered. He just keeps holding on God's mercy that someday he will be out from the tunnel. He said he became more mature of what happened.

He prayed to God to let him live, because he does not want his sons to be fatherless, since he already experienced growing up without a father. So he did all he can to survive. They made them clean the toilets which he said was alright, but two days before his release, they made them clean up all the tunnels and relocated him to a new tunnel. Then he was released. Here is the translation There was gunfire in the other houses. I left a message for my wife, I said take care of our children, take good care of them. If I get any money from this, put it aside and say that you will use it for the future of our kids. The armed men asked me if I was a soldier, the guns were really pointed at my head, it was as if the shooting was automatic one after the other opposite to my back, It was loud and almost made me deaf and it was as if you were in an airplane because of the sound of the gun which is very loud. My boss was murdered by the hamas ,when they took me out of the house i didnt expect that they would keep me alive.( when he was in hamas tunnels ) Sometimes when we don't have a supply of food, because I said it's a war, I don't eat all the food that's given there, The food they gave it's for the whole day and when my stomach growls , I'll just eat little by little, the water is a little bit salty. This is bad I said, because I have a history of kidney problems. When you poop, they give you a little tissue, I don't use it, I put it in my pocket, it's food I said to myself, I take a little tissue and stick it on the wall because the wall was wet. I stick it until the tissue is wet and I ate it.They will order you to clean inside the tunnel, seven toilets, I said "it's ok because it's for us too, if it stinks, the stench/smell won't go anywhere because it's in the tunnel. The first week, the second week ,I was actually there in the jail and my bathroom is already there, I can't do anything because I'm a prisoner. My big question was, why did they bring me here, my brain is going crazy. Why did they bring me here but I didn't do anything wrong with them. I got my strength from our Lord and my children. I endured hunger and eating toilet paper because I told myself this is for my children. I told the lord I was only 12 years old when my father left me , don't do this to me, dont let me die I said, I'm willing to stay here even for ten years as long as you dont let me die I prayed to God. (1st batch releasing of hostages) They told me to get my things, those what they gave me which was a t shirt, toothbrush and shorts. When I was done, they told me to take my bed foam and pillow, they said we would move to another tunnel, then the next day they told us to throw the bed foam in the same place, after cleaning a tunnel they said to me "later at 1 o'clock we will start walking and they said we were going out. When I was out of the tunnel I cried and saw the sunlight. We got out of the tunnel, I knelt down and thanked our lord. I am happy to be alive and breathed fresh air. My physical and mental strength was tested. I came out with a mature mind. I got my strength from God and my children. Thank you very much for your prayers for me. I hope we can hear from him more about how hamas treated them. Who are involved and why they were thanking hamas when they released them.
