Why do we expend resources solving problems which could have been easily prevented in the first place, and after the damage has been done. A country with so many competent people (Dr Muda Lawal et al) yet we struggle with so many fundamental issues. An enigma this country.

Can currency redenomination be a solution?

To some extent, during the cash cosfication policy of Emefele many lost confidence in the bank. Many people in the time past takes money to the bank before but we failed in implementing our cashless policy when we open the POS market. Right now even petrol stations are not taking their cash to banks, many businesses rather look for POS to lodge their cash. If we decide to redominate the currency, in the short term it will revert the cash back to the banks, to make it work we need to reduce proliferation of POS. ATM are supposed to be fully in operation but we have over do the POS service, I think it's only in Nigeria that we have this anormally..
