'You're Opening Demonic Doors': Ex-Psychic's Warning About Yoga

Yoga is an international exercise phenomenon, becoming an integrated part of many people's fitness routines. But the physical activity has also become a point of debate among some believers who see it as far more diabolical than mere stretches and poses. Jenn Nizza, an ex-psychic who spent years doing readings and communicating with what she believed were the dead loved ones of her clients, is among those speaking out. Nizza, who is now a Christian, told CBN's Faithwire yoga isn't just "stretching and breathing." "Yoga is a Hindu spiritual practice and the word 'yoga' is rooted um in Sanskrit it means 'to yoke to' or 'to unite with,' and what they're doing," she said. "They have deliberate postures that are paying tribute, honor, and worship to their false gods, and they have over 330,000,000 false gods, which are demons, and they're honoring them with these postures." I spent $2500 to study and train to obtain a Christian Yoga Instructor certification. I traveled to Atlanta to attend live-in session trainings. The ladies and men involved were kind and knowledgeable, yet when I couldn’t understand why the curriculum and instructors continued to use the Hindu, eastern influenced terms and phrases, they glossed over it saying I could change the words but needed to know them to graduate. God set me apart. I stopped thinking of it all, I never continued. Praise God for protecting me.

Back here in India, Yoga is made compulsory in all school curriculum and our school also celebrates International Yoga day to observe and bring about the importance of Yoga . I always felt irritated with yoga classes and I made sure that I wouldn’t do them in class by sitting behind and doing nothing because ‘ me ‘ as a christian who is aware of the fact that it is against God, wanted to stop doing all this nonsense and put all my focus on God

Was thinking along same lines , nothing seems to keep the monotheistic God happy , I'd be the first to say what self respecting man goes to phoney yoga classes unless he's perving over the ladies , there will be a few exceptions because of injuries . I had very bad back after helping a family member clear moss from their roof (no good deed goes unpunished ) , I did some yoga exercises on advice from a trained physiotherapist and whilst my back just like my knob is always quite stiff , its certainly a lot better than it was. All this praying to God stuff is just buying satn more time, is the biggest lie ever told , Jesus is coming back to save you , only he can save you, Christ consciousness is like the sun shining , is always there, always has been , even on a cloudy day but satn abuses and wrecks everything and buys himself time with lies and deception, forced behaviour like going to a mosque 5 times a day. is just another lie.

About 5 yrs back I wanted to put a kids yoga book out presenting my friend's daughter in it doing all the different yoga poses. Then I was to write on each page next to each picture explaining what each pose was good for, because she was so flexible & was able to do all the yoga poses at 6 yrs old. I ran this idea by her mom & she thought that idea 💡 was genius & was all in. Then I suddenly felt the need to see if God was ok with it & pray about it, asking him if that was His will for her life before pursuing this new yoga kids book idea venture. I ask Him to please reveal it to me thru a video. The very next morning God ed me to a video exposing yoga & it's demonic connection made by a girl living in india. This video was literally the very first video uploaded to KZbin exposing yoga dirty little secret & get this it was uploaded that very morning. You can't tell that ain't God & that, that video was made just for me 😂 but it was the first one ever, well since then there's been so many more exposures outing yoga via KZbin. I thank God for showing the truth & it stop 🛑 me from pursuing such an abominable book. God is good. May this testimony bless someone 🙌🙏🏽

My friend was in so deep and while meditating the wall of her room disappeared and she was in a place with lots of people whispering and watching her. Suddenly double doors burst open and large soldiers marched in surrounding her and marching her up to an empty throne. A voice told her to kneel. She stood there looking and suddenly said "No!" Hey I got a demonic spirit attachment from practising the new age, and one night I ended up with severe anxiety and depression that lasted for like 4 months. Was feeling suicidal and depressed to the point I could barely get out of bed. During that 4 month period I had a lot of paranormal stuff happen in my life, it was simply crazy. It's okay to practice yoga as long there isn't an Altar with any of their "gods" on them and you don't chant. These exercises are beneficial for your health. I finally found solutions in my mind through meditation, started getting better so embraced meditation. Teachers even showed up, just felt like part of my own subconscious found a real creative way to get a message to me. If you go to yoga beyond the gym and the occasional session at a studio you will learn yoga is not a physical activity (actually it is a terrible form of physical activity leading to a number of injuries people don’t like to talk about). It is a spiritual practice. The whole asana session is in order to “open you up” for the meditation and spiritual practice. Learn about and be aware of what you are getting into. In which people are adviced to do physical activity in the initial stages to relax muscle tension and then through psycho analysis and therapy you release mental tensions. Meditation helps one release mental tension by releasing all the negative thoughts that have been suppressed and release all the pent up emotions. Its normal to have negative thoughts but only the insane act on those negative thoughts. You make yoga and meditation sound like they are the reason we get negative thoughts and so we’ll act like an insane person. Please stop spreading misinformation.

As a Christian I love the people, cultures, practices, foods, music all the things in God’s world because I have experience of walking in the light of my higher power instead of dwelling in the darkness of this world. I am not a VICTIM of this world, I get to participate fully in the beautiful parts of these things while knowing my choice is either Gods will or the fear of the world and thinking I know best like many “theorists” do. Their life is miserable and fearful but they want you to follow them in what they are doing. lol. Nah, I’m good. I trust God instead of fear. Only fear based people run from things. They should!!! If they only see darkness in these things while missing that it is the darkness and fear in them being projected, well I’d hide behind my Bible and in the small bubble I’ve made for my self too. I actually have a relationship with God instead of leaving him in the book. The fearful Christians of the world say “I’m fooled” by these things. lol. I was fooled and in misery like ya’ll daily and was an awful hate filled judgmental human too as I read theories and other peoples rules of God. Then I gave myself permission to surrender to his Will not fear…I got an experience of God instead of the theory. Those thst haven’t had that experience are still locked in their minds of good and evil. God, I pray that these fearful people regardless of religious affiliation will find the freedom of an actual Trust in you instead of their own fearful traumatized thoughts.

No. But even the HINT of relating to other cultures and the world outside their bubble drives these people CRAZY! No, yoga is specific. I know someone who, when she stopped it and repented and renounced doing it, her son no longer had food allergies. He'd gotten to where he was even afraid to eat for fear that he would experience Anaphylaxis. She repented and renounced it and he had no more fear. It was amazing! In addition, Deuteronomy 12 tells us not to worship God in the same way that other gods are worshiped. It's God speaking and He says it twice.

I don't understand this view point as Yoga was founded well before Jesus Christ. Can anyone tell me when the Bible was written and how many times it has been re written to suit ones own belief system? For me Yoga, meditation, mindfulness and researching and practising the teachings of the Buddha has helped reduce PTSD related stress and anxiety and has relaxed me, allowing me to calm my thoughts, be more accepting of life's downs and view them in a different way. How can any of this be negative?

My church has allowed a church nember to teach this in the church as exercise for the elderly. They do chair exercises. I have spoken to her about the Eastern Religion aspect and even shared a book about new age deceit and yoga. It made no difference. I even have posted testimonies like this CBN. on my FB page and was told I was wrong by the same group of women. What can I do to help them see the light. They do believe in Jesus as their savior. Any suggestion would help.

The nature of people, especially the older ones, 😜😂, is to put up resistance when being told they're doing something wrong. Rather than focus your efforts on rebuking, maybe focus on asking questions about why they enjoy this specific exercise? How was it established there was a need for a class? Of course you don't want it to be an interrogation but usually other people like to be heard rather than spoken to so it could be a starting point. 🙏

Yes, beware for yoga, it’s not harmless. A few years ago I had a yoga class gifted to me, by a well meaning loved one. I noticed an elephant “god” statue by the entrance, that was obviously Hindu, that gave me the creeps, but the big red flag was when the instructor wanted us to chant something in Sanskrit without telling us the meaning. I refused to do it, because something in my spirit was alarmed to not do it!

I have a different point of view than seemingly everyone here. I watched the video and read through a great deal of the comments, and I have to say that this is an extreme representation with many inaccuracies. I have an E-RYT 500 certification through Yoga Alliance; I studied under accredited teacher trainers for the extended 500 hour certification and am classified as an experienced registered yoga teacher and teacher trainer. I also have over 3,000 hours of applied teaching experience. I wanted to give you all my background and qualifications as I feel I can weigh in on this as a credible voice from the other side of the isle on this topic. The word "yoga' literally translates to "yoke," but the translation isn't an accurate definition of what yoga is, in the literal sense. Yogic traditions can be traced back over 5,000 years ago, and there are many traditions and lineages that exist today. Many of these traditions practiced are Western traditions rather than classic traditions, some are more heavily engrained in spirituality and others have a focus that is centered in mental, physical and emotional wellness. Yes, there are different religious beliefs held by classical yogis, but that does not make it demonic. Is any religion that is not the same as yours demonic? There is a modern saying that, "Too much of anything is bad; everything in moderation." I bring that saying up because literally any activity can be turned into a negative experience. Though there are many different lineages of yoga, each lineage was created with two objectives that are offered to the practitioner: bringing stillness to a chaotic mind in order to bring about peace and tranquility, and to remove the discomfort of afflictions or suffering so that the first objective can be obtained. That is the core of it. As with anything, a good things can become a negative thing; prayer, for example, can be a bad thing if you aren't aware of your intentions. Intentions are everything. It is both inaccurate and irresponsible to state that yoga will harbor demons, and I hope that this message comes through with love, as my only intention is to provide some light in troubling times. Do your own research, always, and form your own opinions. We are all sparks of the divine; children of the Almighty Creator. Om.

About what she said about meditation, I 100% can testify it as a person who were trained and grew up with Buddhist teaching since I was little. When the very high practice monk teaching us how to do meditation, we were warned to close ourselves up when we see bigger "spirits" because we are no longer able to fight them. I was previously an Acupuncturist and God has used me to share where the Acupuncture practice came from and informed people why I stopped practising Acupuncture while I was changing my career.

Never taken a yoga class that negatively impacted or threatened by relationship with christ. It's good mental and physical exercise, which encourages the doer to contemplate and submit to the divine. Any yoga teacher who pushes specific dieties or forced mental images isn't doing so in the spirit of Patanjalis sutras. I understand that yoga is part of the Hindu traditions, but yoga was a gift to mankind, not a specific faith. Sorry, but....not sorry for sticking up for something healthy and positive amidst all this negativity and attack.

I'm a certified instructor. I don't practice. I had a visable demonic attack when I refused to memorize the mantras because of my faith. My instructor was understanding. At the end of the class I saw 2 blocks a yellow and a blue. They combined to make orange ( instead of green) and hit me in the forehead, flying across the room.

Done Yoga and eastern practices for years. My husband was an inspirational yoga master and spiritual teacher for a lifetime and helped hundreds of people. Yoga, mystical christianity and eastern practices changed my whole life and continues to help me. You should be careful what you spread. There is nothing evil in these practices at all. My life is devoted to God, the Divine. Yoga is not always same as New Age by the way though I accept both. I have a very universal belief system.
