So many choices of skins...Lamb, Goat, Cow, Calf, Water Buffalo...that is incredible. Also impressed with their 'Build A Bible' feature. People can actually choose from several text styles. Wish more publishers would offer that kind of customization. That is probably an advantage to smaller publishers like this one. Not the mention a smaller publisher usually means more love goes into the quality of these Bibles. Thanks for sharing sister!

What a great video. I've got a lambskin and a water buffalo and a top grain cowhide I love them all but you know how rough I am on Bibles so I kind of favor the top grain cowhide for its durability Lord bless you my friend

I have used my Turquoise as my main bible for about 2 years. I have multiple ones so I can continue with the same text block. Still have hand size from when they were LCBP...maybe 11 or 12? Years old and still holding up well. These are beautiful workhorses

God Stories the turquoise is one of my favorite layouts, it’s a great text block. I recall your video review and the comparison and also your video back when you first got your Longprimer. I’ve watched quite a few of your videos. These really are great workhorse Bibles and will last a lifetime if you take care of them. I love CBPs Bibles! Beautiful bible, especially for those that don't have the eye issues I do, but for me..I sure need to be able to read the inside! You're right, the Turquoise is a great block. I just LOVE the wrinkly cranberry water buffalo! Oooo, I really have to discipline myself and not buy one for myself. Think Christmas! This is a time for giving and not buying for oneself. That will set me straight. I also like the lambskin, too. So soft...thanks for the good review!

Oh boy that is a tough question! I love the top grain cowhide for the durability but I love the wrinkled look of the cranberry water buffalo. I do worry that I will scuff n scratch the ironed calfskin and the lambskin cause they’re so soft. The goatskin one I just bought recently and I do really like it too. They’re all so nice that it would be tough to choose. If I was buying one I’d probably go for the most durable leather for the amount I had to spend at the moment...CBP makes awesome Bibles! Of the calfskin or lambskin.. Which do you think is better? They do not have the editions in top grain cowhide right now that i would like

They’re both very nice but they’re also fairly soft but from the feel of both it feels like the lamb skin might be just a little more durable cause it doesn’t feel like it’d scuff as easily but it’s certainly not as durable as the top grain cowhide or the water buffalo. I love all their Bibles! Can’t go wrong with a CBP. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it

Hi Bible Believing Christian : You always answer me Thanks, I have Two questions and would like your opinion : (1#) I see you have the black letter Turquoise with a vinyl cover with a 11pt font and you have the Goatskin red letter large print readers Turquoise. I have a hard time with my ageing eyes reading the center Colom reference on the 11pt Turquoise. is the 12pt Goatskin easer to read ? (2#) which do you like better the goatskin cover or the water buffalo cover and why ?

The 12pt reader’s edition is definitely easier on the eyes and for center column references one thing I’ve done fairly recently was started using a magnifier from the dollar store and that is surprisingly helpful and not big so it’s easy to keep on the nightstand or wherever you do your reading. As far as covers I like the water buffalo because it has a wrinkled texture to it that is very durable and so it doesn’t scuff, the goatskin is much more durable than the calfskin which scuffs much easier but I’ve never seen a visible mark on my water buffalo one and I’ve used it the most and the ironed calfskin and goatskin I can see some scuffs on, which give them added character but I like knowing I won’t accidentally scuff the water buffalo with my fingernails, it’s super durable, it costs more but it will last a lifetime and hold up to heavy use. But the references in the 12pt are easier on my eyes. I just got them out and was comparing them and it does make a difference. I hope that helps. Poor wife she just does not understand, she has ONE Bible I got her 30 or 35 years ago and she is happy with that, I have been on a search for the PERFICT Bible for many years, they all have different things I like and dislike about them.

And when your wife asks how many Bibles you need ask her how many pairs of shoes (or purses or whatever she’s into) does she need and she will probably change the subject, lol. @@BibleBelievingChristian Thanks Bible Believing Christion : I am blessed with a wife that believes there is only ONE WAY Jesus and she reads her Bible daily and believes it's the word of God. I now have Two bibles coming the Vanilla Water Buffalo & the $12.00 Vinyl red letter Large print, I can check this one out for less money and wait and see if it come out later with a Water Buffalo cover if I like it ? I also got two boxes. yes I'm excited to say the least, I'm like a dog sitting on a thumb tack. Every time I ask my Bride if she would like one of these CBP Bibles she politely says honey I already have a Bible thank you. Maybe at Christmas time I'll surprise her with a Vanilla hand size Bible Ha Ha Ha. You take care Lady and thanks for you Help.

Bible Believing Christian ok thank you. I wish those publishers printed more modern texts translations seeing how the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered in the 40’s and many other Hebrew text have been found even since then. The king james text base keeps getting weaker and weaker the more we discover new ancient writings.
