Even the rear brake pads for non ABS version.. Pulsar 220's rear brake pads fit for cbr. Honda charges 700rs and pulsar 220's we get it for 350rs

Same here guys, a rattling noise was coming from my engine, it was so loud that you cant even run bike with. I went ti 3 Honda showrooms, they all told me different problem and cost around 35 -40k. But with KZbin videos i found the real problem and corrected it myself only. It was Timing Chain Tensioner worn out, i replaced it in just 468 rs. and my bike is working now as it was before.

its cam rocker worn out sound part cost is around 700-900 and is available at all honda workshops u just need a good mechanic and a small amount to change it after that your cbr will be just fine! but nevertheless it was my case maybe something else is faulty I cannot surely tell what part is faulty so go for a good mechanic near you a trustworthy one so that he can tell exactly which part is damaged in my case it was cam rocker 90% it is cam rocket in cbr 250 this problemis faced by all 250r owners it is a bad design or a bad engineering that’s why till date they have not fixed this issue so i hope i gave you a perfect answer like,comment and subscribe thankyou🙏

FIrstly, I had worked in the Honda Service Centre and Honda BigWing and I had worked on CBR 150r, 250r and 1000rr. If it was the first version of CBR 250r 2010 - 2012 (CBR250RB/RC) 100% it would be a Bad Rocker arm (for sure)+ a bad CCT(maybe). These parts have some manufacturing defects due to which they were destined to failure. I had mine replaced at 1900Km ! If the Tappet is making that much noise even at 25k, It means the Valve clearance has gone way way out of spec and the only reason for that is broken rocker (The roller beating shaft sheers) Honda specs says Intake 0.16 ± 0.03 (0.13, 0.14, 0.15, , 0.17, 0.18, 0.19) Exhaust 0.27 ± 0.03 (0.24, 0.25, 0.26, , 0.28, 0.29, 0.30) Anything between these is " Within spec " according to Honda but if it is like 0.20 and 0.32 respectively, it indicates that there is a problem in the rocker arm bearing shaft as a wear of over 0.04 - 0.05 is WAY too much. Most mechanics just adjust the tappet clearance by replacing the shims but they fail to diagnose the root cause of such a high valve clearance. That will fix the noise but the problem is still there. Mostly, I have seen exhaust side with high clearance when I disassemble the rockers, the bearing pin were always broken. I have like 20+ replaced rocker arm for the exhaust all of them had the same problem. You can reply with you email or whatsapp number and I will send you the pics and videos for the failed rockers.

Cam tensioner ka price bhi jyada nai hai under 1k me mil jayegi Mere pass karizma r nd cbr 250r dono bikes hai.. Bro im getting a similar sound from my bike. I just uploaded the video asking for help but then came across ur video. Thank you very much for the suggestion even here in my service centre they said it will take a long time like maybe a month or more and gave me an estimation of almost 30k they said if tensioner and shims then it might cost 3 to 4k but if the engine is broken then they said it will cost a lot more

😌 I replaced the entire head because Honda service centre people suggested me for this problem it costs 20k I got my performance back but there is lot of vibrations after head replacement any solution to decrease vibrations I use CBR 250r 2012 abs repsol edition clocked 30000km

I also have an cbr250r I got some knocking noise from engine head It was the noise between rocker and shim tappet The shim tappet gets loosen while overheating So just check the valve clearance in an KTM agency and get it done in A week

It's the cam chain tensioner causing the noise. Terrible design fault with honda and Kawasaki. Don't fear, it's not a huge problem. Change the cam chain tensioner to a manual tensioner. Problem solved.
