I've been loving Vedder for the past 4-5 years as well, but in 2023 they are as spendy as all the rest of them now a days. I'm gonna try out a Trex Ironside for my M&P 2.0 5".

When I saw that it was called the 'Ironside' holster I thought maybe it was made specifically to work well from a seated position. That is because, in the early/mid 1970s there was a television show starring Raymond Burr who played a detective and former cop whose last name was 'Ironside' and that was also the name of the show. Ironside had been shot and was paralyzed from the waist down so he was in a wheelchair. Hence why I thought it might be a holster specifically for seated use - like while driving, sitting for long periods, etc. Playboy Tac may remember that show as I think you are almost my age (I'm 52). I liked the show as a kid although I mostly just remember watching it, now, and not many details other than my Mom liked it. I think there was an attempted remake show a few years back but I never watched it and don't think it lasted very long.

not having the muzzle end rounded is probably so it can be used with with VP9L or OR Match slide, if you were so inclinded.

I like their holsters, they hold up well compared to others. Like a dumbass I didn't loctite my screws so they come undone and I lose the special nuts.
